But after turning and looking at his disciples, he rebuked Peter and said,“ Get behind me, Satan. You are not setting your mind on God’s interests, but on man’s.”

But when Jesus turned and looked at his disciples, he rebuked Peter.“ Get behind me, Satan!” he said.“ You do not have in mind the concerns of God, but merely human concerns.”

Jesus turned and looked at his disciples. He scolded Peter.“ Get behind me, Satan!” he said.“ You are not thinking about the things God cares about. Instead, you are thinking only about the things humans care about.”

But turning and seeing his disciples, he rebuked Peter and said,“ Get behind me, Satan! For you are not setting your mind on the things of God, but on the things of man.”

Jesus turned around and looked at his disciples, then reprimanded Peter.“ Get away from me, Satan!” he said.“ You are seeing things merely from a human point of view, not from God’s.”

But turning around and looking at his disciples, he rebuked Peter and said,“ Get behind me, Satan! You are not thinking about God’s concerns but human concerns.”

But turning around and seeing His disciples, He rebuked Peter and* said,“ Get behind Me, Satan; for you are not setting your mind on God’s purposes, but on man’s.”

But when He had turned around and looked at His disciples, He rebuked Peter, saying,“ Get behind Me, Satan! For you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men.”

But he turning about, and seeing his disciples, rebuked Peter, and saith, Get thee behind me, Satan; for thou mindest not the things of God, but the things of men.

But turning around and looking at His disciples, He rebuked Peter and said,“ Get behind Me, Satan, because you’re not thinking about God’s concerns, but man’s!”

But when he had turned about and looked on his disciples, he rebuked Peter, saying, Get thee behind me, Satan: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but the things that be of men.

But he, turning around, and seeing his disciples, rebuked Peter, and said,“ Get behind me, Satan! For you have in mind not the things of God, but the things of men.”

Then Jesus said to him,“ Go away, Satan! For it is written:‘ You are to worship the Lord your God and serve only him.’”

Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him,

Their end is destruction, their god is the belly, they exult in their shame, and they think about earthly things.

Such wisdom does not come from above but is earthly, natural, demonic.For where there is jealousy and selfishness, there is disorder and every evil practice.But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, accommodating, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial, and not hypocritical.And the fruit that consists of righteousness is planted in peace among those who make peace.

Do not reprove a mocker or he will hate you; reprove a wise person and he will love you.Give instruction to a wise person, and he will become wiser still; teach a righteous person and he will add to his learning.

So then, don’t worry saying,‘ What will we eat?’ or‘ What will we drink?’ or‘ What will we wear?’For the unconverted pursue these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them.

The serpent said to the woman,“ Surely you will not die,for God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will open and you will be like divine beings who know good and evil.”When the woman saw that the tree produced fruit that was good for food, was attractive to the eye, and was desirable for making one wise, she took some of its fruit and ate it. She also gave some of it to her husband who was with her, and he ate it.

Then the Lord turned and looked straight at Peter, and Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how he had said to him,“ Before a rooster crows today, you will deny me three times.”

For those who live according to the flesh have their outlook shaped by the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit have their outlook shaped by the things of the Spirit.For the outlook of the flesh is death, but the outlook of the Spirit is life and peace,because the outlook of the flesh is hostile to God, for it does not submit to the law of God, nor is it able to do so.Those who are in the flesh cannot please God.

All those I love, I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest and repent!

And looking at those who were sitting around him in a circle, he said,“ Here are my mother and my brothers!

But Jesus turned and rebuked them,

But he replied,“ You’re talking like one of the godless women would do! Should we receive what is good from God, and not also receive what is evil?” In all this Job did not sin by what he said.

So, since Christ suffered in the flesh, you also arm yourselves with the same attitude, because the one who has suffered in the flesh has finished with sin,

After looking around at them in anger, grieved by the hardness of their hearts, he said to the man,“ Stretch out your hand.” He stretched it out, and his hand was restored.

But David said,“ What do we have in common, you sons of Zeruiah? You are like my enemy today! Should anyone be put to death in Israel today? Don’t you realize that today I am king over Israel?”

turn this man over to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, so that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord.

You must not hate your brother in your heart. You must surely reprove your fellow citizen so that you do not incur sin on account of him.

Those guilty of sin must be rebuked before all, as a warning to the rest.

But he did not answer her a word. Then his disciples came and begged him,“ Send her away, because she keeps on crying out after us.”

May the godly strike me in love and correct me! May my head not refuse choice oil! Indeed, my prayer is a witness against their evil deeds.

Such testimony is true. For this reason rebuke them sharply that they may be healthy in the faith

Jesus answered him,“ It is written,‘ You are to worship the Lord your God and serve only him.’”
