But when Jesus turned and looked at his disciples, he rebuked Peter.“ Get behind me, Satan!” he said.“ You do not have in mind the concerns of God, but merely human concerns.”

Jesus turned and looked at his disciples. He scolded Peter.“ Get behind me, Satan!” he said.“ You are not thinking about the things God cares about. Instead, you are thinking only about the things humans care about.”

But turning and seeing his disciples, he rebuked Peter and said,“ Get behind me, Satan! For you are not setting your mind on the things of God, but on the things of man.”

Jesus turned around and looked at his disciples, then reprimanded Peter.“ Get away from me, Satan!” he said.“ You are seeing things merely from a human point of view, not from God’s.”

But turning around and looking at his disciples, he rebuked Peter and said,“ Get behind me, Satan! You are not thinking about God’s concerns but human concerns.”

But turning around and seeing His disciples, He rebuked Peter and* said,“ Get behind Me, Satan; for you are not setting your mind on God’s purposes, but on man’s.”

But when He had turned around and looked at His disciples, He rebuked Peter, saying,“ Get behind Me, Satan! For you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men.”

But he turning about, and seeing his disciples, rebuked Peter, and saith, Get thee behind me, Satan; for thou mindest not the things of God, but the things of men.

But turning around and looking at His disciples, He rebuked Peter and said,“ Get behind Me, Satan, because you’re not thinking about God’s concerns, but man’s!”

But when he had turned about and looked on his disciples, he rebuked Peter, saying, Get thee behind me, Satan: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but the things that be of men.

But after turning and looking at his disciples, he rebuked Peter and said,“ Get behind me, Satan. You are not setting your mind on God’s interests, but on man’s.”

But he, turning around, and seeing his disciples, rebuked Peter, and said,“ Get behind me, Satan! For you have in mind not the things of God, but the things of men.”

耶穌對他說：『撒但退去！因為有記着說：「要拜主你的上帝，單單事奉他。」』

別愛世界、或世界上的事物了。人若愛世界，愛父的心就不在他裏面了。

他們的結局是滅亡；他們所事奉的神就是自己的肚子；他們所誇耀的是在於他們的羞恥；他們是意念着地上之事的人。

這樣的智慧不是從上頭下來的，是屬地上、屬血氣、屬鬼魔的。哪裏有妒忌和營私爭勝，哪裏就有擾亂和各樣的壞事。惟獨從上頭來的智慧、第一是清潔，其次是和平、溫良、柔順，滿有憐恤和美善果子的，不含糊兩可、不假模假樣。並且正義之果子也是在和平中撒種、給締造和平的人收成的。

不要勸責褻慢人，免得他恨你：要勸責智慧人，他必愛你。施教於智慧人，他就越發有智慧；將知識傳給義人，他就增加心得。

所以你們不要掛慮說：「我們要喫甚麼？」或「要喝甚麼？」或是「要披戴甚麼？」因為這一切、外國人都切求着；你們的天父知道你們需用這一切。

蛇對女人說：『你一定不會死：因為上帝知道你們喫的日子、你們的眼睛就開朗，你們就像上帝一樣，曉得分別善惡。』於是女人見那棵樹的果子做食品似乎好喫，又悅人眼目，而且可喜愛、能使人有智慧，就摘取那果子來喫了；又給她丈夫一齊喫，她丈夫也喫了。

主轉過身來，瞪了彼得一眼，彼得就受提醒而記得主的話，他怎樣對他說：『今天雞叫以前，你就要三次否認我了』。

因為順着肉體行的、意念着肉體的事；順着靈行的、意念着靈的事。肉體的意念是死；靈的意念乃是生命與平安。因為肉體的意念跟上帝為敵，不順服於上帝之律法，也實在不能順服：在肉體裏生活的人總不能使上帝喜歡。

凡我所愛的、我就指責管教；所以你要發熱心，要悔改。

就周圍看他四圍坐着的人說：『你看，我的母親，我的弟兄！

耶穌轉過身來責備他們。就往別的村莊去了。

約伯卻對她說：『你說話就像個不虔不義的傻人在說話一樣。我們由上帝而接受福氣，難道就不接受災禍？』在這一切事上、約伯並沒有以口舌而犯了罪。

所以基督既在肉身受過苦，你們就該穿着以下這樣的信念為軍裝，承認在肉身受過苦的人是已止絕了罪，

耶穌氣忿忿地周圍看着他們，因了他們心之頑梗而惻然憂愁，就對那人說：『伸出手來。』他一伸，他的手就復了原。

大衛說：『洗魯雅的兒子啊，你們與我就不同意了，所以你們今天才跟我作對啊。今天在以色列中豈可有一個人被處死呢？我豈不知我今天還作以色列的王麼？』

把這樣的人放給撒但，去讓他的肉體死滅，好讓他的靈在主的日子得以獲救。

『不可心裏恨你的族弟兄；總要指責你的同伴，免得你因他而擔當罪罰。

一味犯罪的、你要在眾人面前指責他們，讓其餘的人也有所畏懼。

耶穌一句話也不回答她。門徒上前來，求耶穌說：『請打發她走吧，因為她在我們後頭喊叫呢。』

義人儘可以拿忠愛作鎚打我，責備我，惡人的油可別美化我的頭呀！我還存在時候，我的禱告總要針對着他們的壞事。

這個見證是真的。因這緣故，你要嚴厲地指責他們，使他們在信仰上健全無疵，

耶穌回答他說：『經上記着說：「要拜主你的上帝，單單要事奉他。」』
