But turning and seeing his disciples, he rebuked Peter and said,“ Get behind me, Satan! For you are not setting your mind on the things of God, but on the things of man.”

But when Jesus turned and looked at his disciples, he rebuked Peter.“ Get behind me, Satan!” he said.“ You do not have in mind the concerns of God, but merely human concerns.”

Jesus turned and looked at his disciples. He scolded Peter.“ Get behind me, Satan!” he said.“ You are not thinking about the things God cares about. Instead, you are thinking only about the things humans care about.”

Jesus turned around and looked at his disciples, then reprimanded Peter.“ Get away from me, Satan!” he said.“ You are seeing things merely from a human point of view, not from God’s.”

But turning around and looking at his disciples, he rebuked Peter and said,“ Get behind me, Satan! You are not thinking about God’s concerns but human concerns.”

But turning around and seeing His disciples, He rebuked Peter and* said,“ Get behind Me, Satan; for you are not setting your mind on God’s purposes, but on man’s.”

But when He had turned around and looked at His disciples, He rebuked Peter, saying,“ Get behind Me, Satan! For you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men.”

But he turning about, and seeing his disciples, rebuked Peter, and saith, Get thee behind me, Satan; for thou mindest not the things of God, but the things of men.

But turning around and looking at His disciples, He rebuked Peter and said,“ Get behind Me, Satan, because you’re not thinking about God’s concerns, but man’s!”

But when he had turned about and looked on his disciples, he rebuked Peter, saying, Get thee behind me, Satan: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but the things that be of men.

But after turning and looking at his disciples, he rebuked Peter and said,“ Get behind me, Satan. You are not setting your mind on God’s interests, but on man’s.”

But he, turning around, and seeing his disciples, rebuked Peter, and said,“ Get behind me, Satan! For you have in mind not the things of God, but the things of men.”

Then Jesus said to him,“ Be gone, Satan! For it is written,“‘ You shall worship the Lord your God and him only shall you serve.’”

Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

Their end is destruction, their god is their belly, and they glory in their shame, with minds set on earthly things.

This is not the wisdom that comes down from above, but is earthly, unspiritual, demonic.For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there will be disorder and every vile practice.But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere.And a harvest of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

Do not reprove a scoffer, or he will hate you; reprove a wise man, and he will love you.Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be still wiser; teach a righteous man, and he will increase in learning.

Therefore do not be anxious, saying,‘ What shall we eat?’ or‘ What shall we drink?’ or‘ What shall we wear?’For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all.

But the serpent said to the woman,“ You will not surely die.For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was to be desired to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate, and she also gave some to her husband who was with her, and he ate.

And the Lord turned and looked at Peter. And Peter remembered the saying of the Lord, how he had said to him,“ Before the rooster crows today, you will deny me three times.”

For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit.For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace.For the mind that is set on the flesh is hostile to God, for it does not submit to God’s law; indeed, it cannot.Those who are in the flesh cannot please God.

Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline, so be zealous and repent.

And looking about at those who sat around him, he said,“ Here are my mother and my brothers!

But he turned and rebuked them.

But he said to her,“ You speak as one of the foolish women would speak. Shall we receive good from God, and shall we not receive evil?” In all this Job did not sin with his lips.

Since therefore Christ suffered in the flesh, arm yourselves with the same way of thinking, for whoever has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin,

And he looked around at them with anger, grieved at their hardness of heart, and said to the man,“ Stretch out your hand.” He stretched it out, and his hand was restored.

But David said,“ What have I to do with you, you sons of Zeruiah, that you should this day be as an adversary to me? Shall anyone be put to death in Israel this day? For do I not know that I am this day king over Israel?”

you are to deliver this man to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, so that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord.

“ You shall not hate your brother in your heart, but you shall reason frankly with your neighbor, lest you incur sin because of him.

As for those who persist in sin, rebuke them in the presence of all, so that the rest may stand in fear.

But he did not answer her a word. And his disciples came and begged him, saying,“ Send her away, for she is crying out after us.”

Let a righteous man strike me— it is a kindness; let him rebuke me— it is oil for my head; let my head not refuse it. Yet my prayer is continually against their evil deeds.

This testimony is true. Therefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith,

And Jesus answered him,“ It is written,“‘ You shall worship the Lord your God, and him only shall you serve.’”
