He took the blind man by the hand and led him outside the village. When he had spit on the man’s eyes and put his hands on him, Jesus asked,“ Do you see anything?”

耶穌領他離開眾人，到一邊去，就用指頭探他的耳朵，吐唾沫抹他的舌頭，

掃羅從地上起來，睜開眼睛，竟不能看見甚麼。有人拉他的手，領他進了大馬士革。

耶穌說了這些話，就吐唾沫在地上，用唾沫和了泥抹在盲人的眼睛上，對他說：「你到西羅亞池子裏去洗。」（西羅亞翻出來就是「奉差遣」。）於是他去，洗了，回來就看見了。

再三求他，說：「我的小女兒快要死了，求你去為她按手，使她痊癒，可以活下去。」

我勸你向我買從火中鍛鍊出來的金子，使你富足；又買白衣穿上，使你赤身的羞恥不露出來；又買眼藥抹你的眼睛，使你能看見。

這約不像我拉着他們祖宗的手，領他們出埃及地的時候與他們所立的約。我雖作他們的丈夫，他們卻背了我的約。這是耶和華說的。

她所生育的孩子中，沒有一個攙她的；她所撫養的孩子中，沒有一個扶她的。

那位造你，使你在母腹中成形，並要幫助你的耶和華如此說：我的僕人雅各，我所揀選的耶書崙哪，不要害怕！
