“ And the seven for the four thousand, how many baskets full of broken pieces did you take up?” And they said to him,“ Seven.”

“又擘开那七个饼分给四千人，你们收拾的零碎装满了多少筐子呢？”他们说：“七个。”

耶稣又说：“我用七个饼喂饱四千人的时候，你们捡了多少筐零碎呢？”门徒答道：“七筐。”

“那七个饼分给四千人吃，你们收拾的零碎装满了几个大篮子呢？”他们说：“七个。”

“那七个饼给四千人的时候，你们收拾的碎块装满了几个筐子呢？”门徒们回答说：“七个。”

「又擘開那七個餅分給四千人，你們收拾的零碎裝滿了多少筐子呢？」他們說：「七個。」

『又以七餅食四千人、爾檢其餘、復得若干筐？』曰『七。』

And when the seven among four thousand, how many baskets full of fragments took ye up? And they said, Seven.

“ When I broke the seven loaves for the four thousand, how many baskets full of pieces did you pick up?” They replied,“ Seven.”

“ When the seven loaves fed the four thousand, how many baskets full of broken pieces did you take up?” They told him,“ Seven.”

And Jesus said to them,“ How many loaves do you have?” They said,“ Seven, and a few small fish.”And directing the crowd to sit down on the ground,he took the seven loaves and the fish, and having given thanks he broke them and gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the crowds.And they all ate and were satisfied. And they took up seven baskets full of the broken pieces left over.Those who ate were four thousand men, besides women and children.

In those days, when again a great crowd had gathered, and they had nothing to eat, he called his disciples to him and said to them,“ I have compassion on the crowd, because they have been with me now three days and have nothing to eat.And if I send them away hungry to their homes, they will faint on the way. And some of them have come from far away.”And his disciples answered him,“ How can one feed these people with bread here in this desolate place?”And he asked them,“ How many loaves do you have?” They said,“ Seven.”And he directed the crowd to sit down on the ground. And he took the seven loaves, and having given thanks, he broke them and gave them to his disciples to set before the people; and they set them before the crowd.And they had a few small fish. And having blessed them, he said that these also should be set before them.And they ate and were satisfied. And they took up the broken pieces left over, seven baskets full.And there were about four thousand people. And he sent them away.
