Your boasting is not good. Don’t you know that a little yeast leavens the whole lump?Purge out the old yeast, that you may be a new lump, even as you are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, has been sacrificed in our place.Therefore let’s keep the feast, not with old yeast, neither with the yeast of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

Jesus said to them,“ Take heed and beware of the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees.”

Meanwhile, when a multitude of many thousands had gathered together, so much so that they trampled on each other, he began to tell his disciples first of all,“ Beware of the yeast of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.But there is nothing covered up that will not be revealed, nor hidden that will not be known.

They sent some of the Pharisees and the Herodians to him, that they might trap him with words.

He said to them,“ Beware! Keep yourselves from covetousness, for a man’s life doesn’t consist of the abundance of the things which he possesses.”

I command you before God, who gives life to all things, and before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate testified the good confession,

How is it that you don’t perceive that I didn’t speak to you concerning bread? But beware of the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees.”Then they understood that he didn’t tell them to beware of the yeast of bread, but of the teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees.

“‘ No meal offering which you shall offer to Yahweh shall be made with yeast; for you shall burn no yeast, nor any honey, as an offering made by fire to Yahweh.

Then the Pharisees went and took counsel how they might entrap him in his talk.They sent their disciples to him, along with the Herodians, saying,“ Teacher, we know that you are honest, and teach the way of God in truth, no matter whom you teach, for you aren’t partial to anyone.Tell us therefore, what do you think? Is it lawful to pay taxes to Caesar, or not?”But Jesus perceived their wickedness, and said,“ Why do you test me, you hypocrites?

At that time, Herod the tetrarch heard the report concerning Jesus,

Remind them of these things, charging them in the sight of the Lord, that they don’t argue about words, to no profit, to the subverting of those who hear.

You, Solomon my son, know the God of your father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind; for Yahweh searches all hearts, and understands all the imaginations of the thoughts. If you seek him, he will be found by you; but if you forsake him, he will cast you off forever.Take heed now; for Yahweh has chosen you to build a house for the sanctuary. Be strong, and do it.”

David said to Solomon his son,“ Be strong and courageous, and do it. Don’t be afraid, nor be dismayed; for Yahweh God, even my God, is with you. He will not fail you, nor forsake you, until all the work for the service of Yahweh’s house is finished.

I command you in the sight of God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, and the chosen angels, that you observe these things without prejudice, doing nothing by partiality.

In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month at evening, you shall eat unleavened bread, until the twenty first day of the month at evening.There shall be no yeast found in your houses for seven days, for whoever eats that which is leavened, that soul shall be cut off from the congregation of Israel, whether he is a foreigner, or one who is born in the land.You shall eat nothing leavened. In all your habitations you shall eat unleavened bread.’”

If you stop listening to instruction, my son, you will stray from the words of knowledge.

Set him before Eleazar the priest, and before all the congregation; and commission him in their sight.You shall give authority to him, that all the congregation of the children of Israel may obey.He shall stand before Eleazar the priest, who shall inquire for him by the judgment of the Urim before Yahweh. At his word they shall go out, and at his word they shall come in, both he and all the children of Israel with him, even all the congregation.”Moses did as Yahweh commanded him. He took Joshua, and set him before Eleazar the priest and before all the congregation.He laid his hands on him and commissioned him, as Yahweh spoke by Moses.
