And he continued,“ You have a fine way of setting aside the commands of God in order to observe your own traditions!

又说：“你们诚然是废弃神的诫命，要守自己的遗传。

耶稣又说：“你们诚然是废弃上帝的诫命，为要守自己的传统。

耶稣又说：“你们诚然是废弃神的诫命，为要守自己的传统。

耶稣又对他们说：“你们为了拘守自己的传统，竟巧妙地废除了上帝的诫命。

耶稣又对他们说：“你们为了坚守自己的传统，而巧妙地把神的诫命拒绝了。

耶稣又对他们说：“你们为了要守住你们的传统，竟然弃绝了神的命令！

又說：「你們誠然是廢棄神的誡命，要守自己的遺傳。

耶穌又說：「你們誠然是廢棄上帝的誡命，為要守自己的傳統。

耶穌又說：「你們誠然是廢棄神的誡命，為要守自己的傳統。

耶穌又對他們說：「你們為了拘守自己的傳統，竟巧妙地廢除了上帝的誡命。

耶穌又對他們說：“你們為了堅守自己的傳統，而巧妙地把神的誡命拒絕了。

他又對他們說：『你們很聰明地廢棄了上帝的誡命，為要遵守自己的傳統規矩！

耶穌又對他們說：「你們為了要守住你們的傳統，竟然棄絕了神的命令！

又曰、誠哉、爾廢上帝誡、守爾遺傳也、

又曰、爾誠廢上帝誡執爾遺傳者、

又謂之曰、爾誠廢天主之誡、為欲守爾之遺傳、

又曰：『爾曹之所以廢棄天主誡命、而維護爾之習俗者、亦已巧矣！

Jesus continued speaking,“ You have a fine way of setting aside God’s commands! You do this so you can follow your own teachings.

And he said to them,“ You have a fine way of rejecting the commandment of God in order to establish your tradition!

Then he said,“ You skillfully sidestep God’s law in order to hold on to your own tradition.

He also said to them,“ You have a fine way of invalidating God’s command in order to set up your tradition!

He was also saying to them,“ You are experts at setting aside the commandment of God in order to keep your tradition.

He said to them,“ All too well you reject the commandment of God, that you may keep your tradition.

And he said unto them, Full well do ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your tradition.

He also said to them,“ You completely invalidate God’s command in order to maintain your tradition!

And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.

He also said to them,“ You neatly reject the commandment of God in order to set up your tradition.

He said to them,“ Full well do you reject the commandment of God, that you may keep your tradition.

I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!”

( The Pharisees and all the Jews do not eat unless they give their hands a ceremonial washing, holding to the tradition of the elders.

It is time for you to act, Lord; your law is being broken.

“ We will not listen to the message you have spoken to us in the name of the Lord!We will certainly do everything we said we would: We will burn incense to the Queen of Heaven and will pour out drink offerings to her just as we and our ancestors, our kings and our officials did in the towns of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem. At that time we had plenty of food and were well off and suffered no harm.

Jesus replied,“ And why do you break the command of God for the sake of your tradition?For God said,‘ Honor your father and mother’ and‘ Anyone who curses their father or mother is to be put to death.’But you say that if anyone declares that what might have been used to help their father or mother is‘ devoted to God,’they are not to‘ honor their father or mother’ with it. Thus you nullify the word of God for the sake of your tradition.

The earth is defiled by its people; they have disobeyed the laws, violated the statutes and broken the everlasting covenant.

Thus you nullify the word of God by your tradition that you have handed down. And you do many things like that.”

Then King Ahaz went to Damascus to meet Tiglath-Pileser king of Assyria. He saw an altar in Damascus and sent to Uriah the priest a sketch of the altar, with detailed plans for its construction.So Uriah the priest built an altar in accordance with all the plans that King Ahaz had sent from Damascus and finished it before King Ahaz returned.When the king came back from Damascus and saw the altar, he approached it and presented offerings on it.He offered up his burnt offering and grain offering, poured out his drink offering, and splashed the blood of his fellowship offerings against the altar.As for the bronze altar that stood before the Lord, he brought it from the front of the temple— from between the new altar and the temple of the Lord— and put it on the north side of the new altar.King Ahaz then gave these orders to Uriah the priest:“ On the large new altar, offer the morning burnt offering and the evening grain offering, the king’s burnt offering and his grain offering, and the burnt offering of all the people of the land, and their grain offering and their drink offering. Splash against this altar the blood of all the burnt offerings and sacrifices. But I will use the bronze altar for seeking guidance.”And Uriah the priest did just as King Ahaz had ordered.

The Lord says:“ These people come near to me with their mouth and honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. Their worship of me is based on merely human rules they have been taught.

He will speak against the Most High and oppress his holy people and try to change the set times and the laws. The holy people will be delivered into his hands for a time, times and half a time.

Do we, then, nullify the law by this faith? Not at all! Rather, we uphold the law.

“ The king will do as he pleases. He will exalt and magnify himself above every god and will say unheard-of things against the God of gods. He will be successful until the time of wrath is completed, for what has been determined must take place.

He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God.
