Disregarding the command of God, you keep the tradition of men.”

你们拘守着人的传统，却离弃了神的诫命。”

你们离弃了神的命令，而拘守人的传统。”

你們是離棄神的誡命，拘守人的遺傳」；

你們是離棄上帝的誡命，拘守人的傳統。」

你們是離棄神的誡命，拘守人的傳統。」

爾曹棄天主之誡、而執人之遺傳、如洗杯樽等物、類此者爾多行之、

蓋天主之命、爾則棄之、人之習俗、爾則執之。』

You have let go of the commands of God and are holding on to human traditions.”

You have let go of God’s commands. And you are holding on to teachings that people have made up.”

You leave the commandment of God and hold to the tradition of men.”

For you ignore God’s law and substitute your own tradition.”

Abandoning the command of God, you hold on to human tradition.”

Neglecting the commandment of God, you hold to the tradition of men.”

For laying aside the commandment of God, you hold the tradition of men— the washing of pitchers and cups, and many other such things you do.”

Ye leave the commandment of God, and hold fast the tradition of men.

“ For you set aside the commandment of God, and hold tightly to the tradition of men— the washing of pitchers and cups, and you do many other such things.”

( For the Pharisees, in fact all the Jews, will not eat unless they wash their hands ritually, keeping the tradition of the elders.When they come from the marketplace, they do not eat unless they have washed. And there are many other customs they have received and keep, like the washing of cups, jugs, copper utensils, and dining couches.)

When you come to appear before Me, who requires this from you— this trampling of My courts?
