耶穌對曰：『善夫意灑雅指爾輩虛偽者之預言也！其書云、「斯民敬我以唇舌、其心與我隔天淵、

He replied,“ Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you hypocrites; as it is written:“‘ These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me.

He replied,“ Isaiah was right. He prophesied about you people who pretend to be good. He said,“‘ These people honor me by what they say. But their hearts are far away from me.

Jesus replied,“ You hypocrites! Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you, for he wrote,‘ These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me.

He answered them,“ Isaiah prophesied correctly about you hypocrites, as it is written: This people honors me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.

But He said to them,“ Rightly did Isaiah prophesy about you hypocrites, as it is written:‘ This people honors Me with their lips, But their heart is far away from Me.

He answered and said to them,“ Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written:‘ This people honors Me with their lips, But their heart is far from Me.

And he said unto them, Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoreth me with their lips, But their heart is far from me.

He answered them,“ Isaiah prophesied correctly about you hypocrites, as it is written: These people honor Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me.

He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with[ their] lips, but their heart is far from me.

主曰、此民但以口親近我、以唇尊敬我、而心則遠離我、其敬畏我者、不過守習學世人所傳之誡而已、

彼自言識天主、而行則拒之、皆為可憎者、違逆者、絕於諸善者、

彼就爾來、若民之會集、坐於爾前、如為我民、聽爾言而不行、口言親愛、心向利欲、

偽善者乎、先知以賽亞預言指爾者誠是、其言云、斯民以口敬我、以唇尊我、其心則遠我、彼以人所命者、為教而訓人、故徒然奉事我云、

禍哉爾偽善之經士與法利賽人、因爾在人前閉天國之門、爾自不入、有欲入者、爾亦不許其入、禍哉爾偽善之經士與法利賽人、因爾侵吞嫠婦之家貲、而佯為長禱、故爾必受刑尤重也、有原文古抄本無此節○禍哉爾偽善之經士與法利賽人、因爾周行水陸、導一人進教、及進教、使之為磯很拿之人、較倍於爾也、

兄弟乎、人自言有信而無行、何益之有、信能救之乎、若兄弟姊妹、裸身無日用之糧、爾中有人謂之曰、安然以往、願爾溫飽、不以其身所需予之、何益之有、如是、信而無行、乃自死也

有虔敬之貌、而無虔敬之實、而無虔敬之實原文作而不認其德若此者、爾當遠避、

主謂之曰、今爾法利賽人潔杯盤之外、惟爾內充滿刼奪、及諸惡、愚者乎、造其外者、非亦造其內乎、惟盡力施濟、或作取盛於杯盤者以施於人則於爾無不潔矣、禍哉爾曹法利賽人乎、因爾以薄荷、茴香、及諸菜蔬、十輸其一、而行義與愛天主、則輕視之、爾所當行者此也、而彼亦不可遺、禍哉爾曹法利賽人乎、因爾喜於會堂坐首座、市上喜人問爾安、禍哉爾偽善之經士法利賽人乎、因爾似隱沒之墓、履其上者不知也、

我知爾無愛天主之心、

若我在其中、不行他人所未行之事、則其人無罪、今已見之、且惡我及我父、

爾行爾父之所行、眾曰、我儕非由淫亂而生、惟有一父、即天主也、耶穌曰、若天主為爾父、則必愛我、因我由天主而出、由天主而來、我非自擅而來、乃天主遣我也、

耶穌曰、若我自榮、我榮則虛、榮我者乃我父、即爾所言為爾天主者、爾曹不識之、我識之、我若言不識、則為誑者如爾曹、但我識之而守其道、

彼此不合皆散、將散時、保羅發一言曰、昔聖神託先知以賽亞告我列祖之言誠是、

以色列人將呼籲我曰、我天主歟、我欲識主、以色列棄善、必被敵追襲、
