He replied,“ Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you hypocrites; as it is written:“‘ These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me.

Jesus replied,“ You hypocrites! Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you, for he wrote,‘ These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me.

He answered them,“ Isaiah prophesied correctly about you hypocrites, as it is written: This people honors me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.

But He said to them,“ Rightly did Isaiah prophesy about you hypocrites, as it is written:‘ This people honors Me with their lips, But their heart is far away from Me.

He answered and said to them,“ Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written:‘ This people honors Me with their lips, But their heart is far from Me.

And he said unto them, Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoreth me with their lips, But their heart is far from me.

主曰、斯民以口親我、以脣尊我、而心則遠我、彼之畏我、乃從人所授之命耳、

自謂識上帝、行則背之、是為可憎、違逆、自絕於諸善工者、

彼詣爾所、如民來集、坐於爾前、若為我民、聽爾言而不行之、其口多顯仁愛、心則逐利、

偽善者乎、以賽亞預言指爾者誠是也、曰斯民以口尊我、而心則遠我、其拜我徒然、以所教者、乃人所命耳、

禍哉、爾偽善之士子、與法利賽人乎、以爾閉天國於人前、不自入、將入者、爾亦不許也、○禍哉、爾偽善之士子、與法利賽人乎、以爾周行水陸、使一人進教、既進矣、乃使為地獄之人、較倍於爾也、○

我兄弟乎、人若自謂有信而無行、何益之有、信能救之乎、若兄弟姊妹裸體、而日乏食、爾中或語之曰、安然而往、願爾溫飽、而不予以身之所需、則何益哉、如是信而無行、乃死耳、

有敬虔之貌、而無其實、若此者宜遠之、

主謂之曰、今爾法利賽人、惟杯盤之外是潔、然爾內則充以刧奪、惡慝、無知者乎、造其外者、不亦造其內耶、惟以在內者施濟、則於爾無不潔矣、○禍哉、爾法利賽人乎、以爾於薄荷、芸香、及諸蔬、十輸其一、而於義、及向上帝之愛、則忽之、此乃爾所當行、而彼亦不可遺也、禍哉、爾法利賽人乎、以爾好會堂高坐、受祝於市、禍哉爾乎、以爾似隱沒之墓、履其上者不知也、○

但知無上帝之愛於爾衷焉、

我若於其中未行人所未行者、彼則無罪、今彼於我及父、且見且惡矣、

爾行爾父之行耳、眾曰、我非由淫而生、我有一父、即上帝也、耶穌曰、若上帝為爾父、則必愛我、蓋我出自上帝、非自擅而至、乃上帝所遣、

耶穌曰、我若自榮、我榮則無矣、榮我者乃我父、即爾所言爾之上帝也、爾未嘗識之、而我識之、若云不識、則誑如爾矣、惟我識之、而守其道、

兩不相合、乃散、將散時、保羅以一言語之曰、善哉、聖神託先知以賽亞告爾列祖云、

彼將呼籲我曰、我上帝歟、吾以色列識爾、以色列委棄諸善、敵將追襲之、
