法利賽人和經學家問耶穌：“你的門徒為甚麼不遵行古人的傳統，用不潔的手吃飯呢？”

法利赛人和文士问他说：“你的门徒为什么不照古人的遗传，用俗手吃饭呢？”

法利赛人和文士问他说：“你的门徒为什么不照古人的传统，竟然用不洁净的手吃饭呢？”

他们质问耶稣：“为什么你的门徒违背祖先的传统，竟用不洁净的手吃饭呢？”

法利赛人和经学家问耶稣：“你的门徒为什么不遵行古人的传统，用不洁的手吃饭呢？”

于是，法利赛人和经文士就问耶稣：“你的门徒们为什么不照着古人的传统行事，用不洁净的手吃饭呢？”

法利賽人和文士問他說：「你的門徒為甚麼不照古人的遺傳，用俗手吃飯呢？」

法利賽人和文士問他說：「你的門徒為甚麼不照古人的傳統，竟然用不潔淨的手吃飯呢？」

法利賽人和文士問他說：「你的門徒為甚麼不照古人的傳統，竟然用不潔淨的手吃飯呢？」

他們質問耶穌：「為什麼你的門徒違背祖先的傳統，竟用不潔淨的手吃飯呢？」

這些法利賽人和經學士就詰問耶穌說：『你的門徒為甚麼不照前人的傳統規矩行，卻用俗污的手喫飯呢？』

於是，法利賽人和經文士就問耶穌：「你的門徒們為什麼不照著古人的傳統行事，用不潔淨的手吃飯呢？」

乃問耶穌曰、爾門徒不依古人遺傳、以俗手而食、何也、

於是、𠵽唎㘔人、士子、問耶穌曰、爾門徒不遵古人遺傳、手未盥而食、何也、

於是法利賽人及經士問耶穌曰、爾門徒何不遵古人遺傳、手未盥即食乎、

故法利塞人及經生質耶穌曰：『爾徒不遵古人遺規、而以俗手取食何也？』

So the Pharisees and teachers of the law asked Jesus,“ Why don’t your disciples live according to the tradition of the elders instead of eating their food with defiled hands?”

So the Pharisees and the teachers of the law questioned Jesus.“ Why don’t your disciples live by what the elders teach?” they asked.“ Why do they eat their food with‘ unclean’ hands?”

And the Pharisees and the scribes asked him,“ Why do your disciples not walk according to the tradition of the elders, but eat with defiled hands?”

So the Pharisees and teachers of religious law asked him,“ Why don’t your disciples follow our age old tradition? They eat without first performing the hand washing ceremony.”

So the Pharisees and the scribes asked him,“ Why don’t your disciples live according to the tradition of the elders, instead of eating bread with ceremonially unclean hands?”

And the Pharisees and the scribes* asked Him,“ Why do Your disciples not walk in accordance with the tradition of the elders, but eat their bread with unholy hands?”

Then the Pharisees and scribes asked Him,“ Why do Your disciples not walk according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashed hands?”

And the Pharisees and the scribes ask him, Why walk not thy disciples according to the tradition of the elders, but eat their bread with defiled hands?

Then the Pharisees and the scribes asked Him,“ Why don’t Your disciples live according to the tradition of the elders, instead of eating bread with ritually unclean hands?”

Then the Pharisees and scribes asked him, Why walk not thy disciples according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashen hands?

The Pharisees and the experts in the law asked him,“ Why do your disciples not live according to the tradition of the elders, but eat with unwashed hands?”

The Pharisees and the scribes asked him,“ Why don’t your disciples walk according to the tradition of the elders, but eat their bread with unwashed hands?”

他們看見他的門徒有人用不潔的手，就是沒有洗過的手吃飯，（原來法利賽人和所有的猶太人都拘守古人的傳統，如果不認真洗手，就不吃東西；

“你的門徒為甚麼違背古人的傳統，在飯前不洗手呢？”

弟兄們，我們奉主耶穌基督的名吩咐你們，凡是游手好閒的弟兄，不按著你們從我們所領受的教訓去行，就應當遠離他。

他們聽說，你教導所有在外族人中的猶太人背棄摩西，叫他們不要給孩子行割禮，也不要遵守規例。

你把他們帶去，和他們一同行潔淨禮，並且替他們付錢，讓他們剃去頭髮，這樣大家就知道以前所聽見關於你的事，都不是真實的，也知道你是遵守律法循規蹈矩而行的人。

怎樣在猶太教中比許多本族同輩的人更激進，為我祖先的傳統分外熱心。

因為我們聽說，你們中間有人游手好閒，甚麼工也不作，反倒專管閒事。

法利賽派的經學家，看見耶穌與罪人和稅吏一起吃飯，就對耶穌的門徒說：“他跟稅吏和罪人一起吃飯嗎？”耶穌聽見了，就對他們說：“健康的人不需要醫生，有病的人才需要；我來不是要召義人，而是要召罪人。”約翰的門徒和法利賽人正在禁食，有人來問耶穌說：“為甚麼約翰的門徒和法利賽人的門徒常常禁食，你的門徒卻不禁食呢？”

又作受割禮之人的父，就是作那些不僅受割禮，並且照著我們祖宗亞伯拉罕未受割禮時就信的那腳蹤而行之人的父。
