眾不勝奇異曰、其所為皆善、使聾者聞、啞者言矣、

眾不勝異曰、其所為者善、使聾者聰、啞者言矣。

眾不勝駭異曰、其所為盡善、使聾者聽、瘖者言矣、

眾皆不勝嘆異曰、『是其所為、靡有不善；直使聾者聰、而瘖者言矣。』

People were really amazed.“ He has done everything well,” they said.“ He even makes deaf people able to hear. And he makes those who can’t speak able to talk.”

And they were astonished beyond measure, saying,“ He has done all things well. He even makes the deaf hear and the mute speak.”

They were completely amazed and said again and again,“ Everything he does is wonderful. He even makes the deaf to hear and gives speech to those who cannot speak.”

They were extremely astonished and said,“ He has done everything well. He even makes the deaf hear and the mute speak.”

And they were utterly astonished, saying,“ He has done all things well; He makes even those who are deaf hear, and those who are unable to talk, speak.”

Then he climbed into the boat with them, and the wind died down. They were completely amazed,

Utterly amazed, they asked:“ Aren’t all these who are speaking Galileans?Then how is it that each of us hears them in our native language?Parthians, Medes and Elamites; residents of Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia,Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya near Cyrene; visitors from Rome( both Jews and converts to Judaism); Cretans and Arabs— we hear them declaring the wonders of God in our own tongues!”Amazed and perplexed, they asked one another,“ What does this mean?”

We are punished justly, for we are getting what our deeds deserve. But this man has done nothing wrong.”

Moses said to the Lord,“ Pardon your servant, Lord. I have never been eloquent, neither in the past nor since you have spoken to your servant. I am slow of speech and tongue.”The Lord said to him,“ Who gave human beings their mouths? Who makes them deaf or mute? Who gives them sight or makes them blind? Is it not I, the Lord?
