Jesus led him away from the crowd so they could be alone. He put his fingers into the man’s ears. Then, spitting on his own fingers, he touched the man’s tongue.

After he took him aside, away from the crowd, Jesus put his fingers into the man’s ears. Then he spit and touched the man’s tongue.

Jesus took the blind man by the hand and led him out of the village. Then, spitting on the man’s eyes, he laid his hands on him and asked,“ Can you see anything now?”

Then he spit on the ground, made mud with the saliva, and spread the mud over the blind man’s eyes.He told him,“ Go wash yourself in the pool of Siloam”( Siloam means“ sent”). So the man went and washed and came back seeing!

The crowd laughed at him. But he made them all leave, and he took the girl’s father and mother and his three disciples into the room where the girl was lying.

But Elijah replied,“ Give me your son.” And he took the child’s body from her arms, carried him up the stairs to the room where he was staying, and laid the body on his bed.Then Elijah cried out to the Lord,“ O Lord my God, why have you brought tragedy to this widow who has opened her home to me, causing her son to die?”And he stretched himself out over the child three times and cried out to the Lord,“ O Lord my God, please let this child’s life return to him.”The Lord heard Elijah’s prayer, and the life of the child returned, and he revived!

He went in alone and shut the door behind him and prayed to the Lord.Then he lay down on the child’s body, placing his mouth on the child’s mouth, his eyes on the child’s eyes, and his hands on the child’s hands. And as he stretched out on him, the child’s body began to grow warm again!

Then go into your house with your sons and shut the door behind you. Pour olive oil from your flask into the jars, setting each one aside when it is filled.”So she did as she was told. Her sons kept bringing jars to her, and she filled one after another.Soon every container was full to the brim!“ Bring me another jar,” she said to one of her sons.“ There aren’t any more!” he told her. And then the olive oil stopped flowing.
