After he took him aside, away from the crowd, Jesus put his fingers into the man’s ears. Then he spit and touched the man’s tongue.

耶稣拉着他的手，领他到村外，吐唾沫在他的眼睛上，又用双手按在他的身上，问他：“你看见什么没有？”

说了这话，就吐唾沫在地上，用唾沫和了一点泥，把泥抹在瞎子的眼睛上，对他说：“你去西罗亚池洗一洗吧。”（西罗亚就是“奉差遣”的意思。）于是他就去了，洗完了，走的时候，就看见了。

众人就嘲笑他。耶稣把众人都赶出去，带着孩子的父母和跟随他的门徒，进入孩子所在的房间。

以利亚对她说：“把你的儿子交给我吧！”以利亚就从她的怀中把孩子接过来，抱他上到自己所住的楼上去，放在自己的床上。以利亚呼求耶和华说：“耶和华我的神啊，我寄居在这寡妇的家里，你也降祸与她，使她的儿子死去吗？”然后，以利亚三次伏在孩子的身上，向耶和华呼求说：“耶和华我的神，求你恢复这孩子的生命吧。”耶和华垂听了以利亚的话，孩子的生命果然恢复，活过来了。

于是他进去，把自己和孩子二人关在门内，然后向耶和华祷告。他又上床伏在孩子身上，使自己的口对着孩子的口，自己的眼对着孩子的眼，自己的手放在孩子的手上；他伏在孩子身上，孩子的身体就渐渐温暖起来。

然后回去，把你和你儿子关在家里，你要把油倒在所有器皿里面，装满了的就放在一边。”于是妇人离开了他，把自己和儿子关在门内；她的儿子不住地把器皿拿到她面前，她就把油倒进去。器皿都倒满了的时候，她对儿子说：“再拿一个器皿给我。”他对她说：“再没有器皿了。”油就止住了。
