耶稣拉着瞎子的手带他走到村外，吐唾沫在他的眼睛上，并把手按在他身上，问他：“你看见什么了？”

耶稣讲完后，便吐唾沫在地上，用唾沫和泥抹在那盲人的眼睛上，对他说：“到西罗亚池去洗洗！”西罗亚是“奉差遣”的意思。那盲人照着去做，回来的时候已经能看见了。

这些人听了，都讥笑祂。耶稣让他们全部出去，然后带着孩子的父母和三个门徒进了房间。

以利亚对妇人说：“把你儿子交给我。”随后，他从妇人怀中接过孩子，抱到楼上自己的房间，放在床上。他向耶和华呼求道：“我的上帝耶和华啊，我寄居在这寡妇家里，你为什么降祸给她，夺去她儿子的性命呢？”他三次伏在孩子身上，求告耶和华说：“我的上帝耶和华啊，求你让这孩子活过来吧。”耶和华听了以利亚的祈求，孩子就活过来了。

就关上门，向耶和华祈祷。祷告后，他上床伏在孩子身上，口对口，眼对眼，手对手，孩子的身体渐渐变暖了。

然后回家关上门，你和你儿子在屋里把那瓶油倒在所有借来的器皿中，装满的放在一边。”于是，妇人辞别以利沙，回去后把自己和儿子关在屋里，儿子递给她器皿，她就倒油。器皿都装满了，她对儿子说：“再拿个器皿给我。”儿子说：“已经没有了。”这时，油止住了。
