“ Lord,” she replied,“ even the dogs under the table eat the children’s crumbs.”

妇人回答：“主啊，桌子底下的小狗也吃小孩子的碎屑呀！”

妇人说：“主啊，你说的对，但桌子下的狗也吃孩子们掉下来的碎渣呀！”

那女人回答他：“主啊，是的，不过小狗在桌子底下，也可以吃孩子们掉下来的碎渣。”

妇人回答说：“主啊！连桌子底下的小狗，也吃得到孩子们的碎渣！”

婦人回答說：「主啊，不錯；但是狗在桌子底下也吃孩子們的碎渣兒。」

婦人回答：「主啊，桌子底下的小狗也吃小孩子的碎屑呀！」

婦人回答：「主啊，桌子底下的小狗也吃小孩子的碎屑呀！」

婦人說：「主啊，你說的對，但桌子下的狗也吃孩子們掉下來的碎渣呀！」

那女人回答他：“主啊，是的，不過小狗在桌子底下，也可以吃孩子們掉下來的碎渣。”

婦人回答耶穌說：『主啊，是的；就是桌子底下的小狗也喫孩子們的碎渣呀！』

婦人回答說：「主啊！連桌子底下的小狗，也吃得到孩子們的碎渣！」

對曰、主、然、案下之狗、亦得食兒曹遺屑耳、

婦對曰、主、然、第兒曹几下餘屑、狗亦得食、

婦對曰、主、然、但狗於案下、亦得食兒曹之遺屑、

婦對曰：『主、誠然！但几下穉犬、亦得沾兒曹餅屑耳。』

“ Lord,” she replied,“ even the dogs under the table eat the children’s crumbs.”

But she answered him,“ Yes, Lord; yet even the dogs under the table eat the children’s crumbs.”

She replied,“ That’s true, Lord, but even the dogs under the table are allowed to eat the scraps from the children’s plates.”

But she replied to him,“ Lord, even the dogs under the table eat the children’s crumbs.”

But she answered and* said to Him,“ Yes, Lord, but even the dogs under the table feed on the children’s crumbs.”

And she answered and said to Him,“ Yes, Lord, yet even the little dogs under the table eat from the children’s crumbs.”

But she answered and saith unto him, Yea, Lord; even the dogs under the table eat of the children’s crumbs.

But she replied to Him,“ Lord, even the dogs under the table eat the children’s crumbs.”

And she answered and said unto him, Yes, Lord: yet the dogs under the table eat of the children’s crumbs.

She answered,“ Yes, Lord, but even the dogs under the table eat the children’s crumbs.”

But she answered him,“ Yes, Lord. Yet even the dogs under the table eat the children’s crumbs.”

Here is what the Lord says to me.“ It is not enough for you as my servant to bring the tribes of Jacob back to their land. It is not enough for you to bring back the people of Israel I have kept alive. I will also make you a light for the Gentiles. Then you will make it possible for the whole world to be saved.”

Then you will be children of your Father who is in heaven. He causes his sun to shine on evil people and good people. He sends rain on those who do right and those who don’t.

Before you believed in Christ, you were separated from him. You were not considered to be citizens of Israel. You were not included in what the covenants promised. You were without hope and without God in the world.At one time you were far away from God. But now you belong to Christ Jesus. He spilled his blood for you. This has brought you near to God.Christ himself is our peace. He has made Jews and Gentiles into one group of people. He has destroyed the hatred that was like a wall between us.

So Jesus went with them. When Jesus came near the house, the Roman commander sent friends to him. He told them to say,“ Lord, don’t trouble yourself. I am not good enough to have you come into my house.That is why I did not even think I was fit to come to you. But just say the word, and my servant will be healed.I myself am a man who is under authority. And I have soldiers who obey my orders. I tell this one,‘ Go,’ and he goes. I tell that one,‘ Come,’ and he comes. I say to my servant,‘ Do this,’ and he does it.”

But this son of yours wasted your money with some prostitutes. Now he comes home. And for him you kill the fattest calf!’“‘ My son,’ the father said,‘ you are always with me. Everything I have is yours.But we had to celebrate and be glad. This brother of yours was dead. And now he is alive again. He was lost. And now he is found.’ ”

I am by far the least important of all the Lord’s holy people. But he gave me the grace to preach to the Gentiles about the unlimited riches that Christ gives.

“ All you who live anywhere on earth, turn to me and be saved. I am God. There is no other God.

God gave them the same gift he gave those of us who believed in the Lord Jesus Christ. So who was I to think that I could stand in God’s way?”When they heard this, they didn’t object anymore. They praised God. They said,“ So then, God has allowed even Gentiles to turn away from their sins. He did this so that they could live.”

You open your hand and satisfy the needs of every living creature.

I tell you that Christ has become a servant of the Jews. He teaches us that God is true. He shows us that God will keep the promises he made to the founders of our nation.Jesus became a servant of the Jews. He did this so that the Gentiles might give glory to God for his mercy. It is written,“ I will praise you among the Gentiles. I will sing the praises of your name.”( 2 Samuel 22:50; Psalm 18:49)

There is no difference between those who are Jews and those who are not. The same Lord is Lord of all. He richly blesses everyone who calls on him.

Or is God the God of Jews only? Isn’t he also the God of Gentiles? Yes, he is their God too.
