耶稣离开那里，退到推罗、西顿境内。有一个迦南的妇人从那地区出来，喊着说：“主啊，大卫的子孙，可怜我吧！我的女儿被鬼附得很苦。”耶稣一句话也不回答她。门徒上前求他说：“请叫她走吧，她一直跟在我们后面喊叫。”耶稣回答：“我被差遣，只是到以色列家的迷羊那里去。”她来跪在耶稣面前说：“主啊，求你帮助我！”耶稣回答：“拿儿女的饼丢给小狗吃是不好的。”她说：“主啊，是的，不过小狗也吃主人桌子上掉下来的碎渣。”于是耶稣对她说：“妇人，你的信心真大，照你所想的给你成就吧！”从那时起，她的女儿就好了。

耶稣和门徒退到海边去，一大群从加利利来的人跟着他；还有许多人听见他所作的一切事，就从犹太、耶路撒冷、以土迈、约旦河外和推罗、西顿一带地方来到他跟前。

“哥拉逊啊，你有祸了！伯赛大啊，你有祸了！在你们那里行过的神迹，如果行在推罗和西顿，它们早已披麻蒙灰悔改了。

耶稣对他们说：“来，你们自己到旷野去休息一下。”因为来往的人多，他们甚至没有时间吃饭。他们就悄悄地上了船，到旷野去了。

耶稣进了房子，他们来到他那里。耶稣问他们：“你们信我能作这些事吗？”他们回答：“主啊，我们信。”

“人子啊！你要对推罗的君王说：‘主耶和华这样说：因为你心里高傲，说：我是神；我在海的中心、坐在神的宝座上。其实你不过是人，并不是神，你心里却自以为是神。

过了些日子，耶稣再回到迦百农。一听说他在屋子里，

迦南人的境界是从西顿伸向基拉耳，直到迦萨；又伸向所多玛、蛾摩拉、押玛、洗扁，直到拉沙。

关于推罗的默示：他施的船只啊，要哀号！因为推罗被毁灭了，再没有房屋，也不能再作港口，这消息是他们从塞浦路斯地得来的。沿海的居民，就是靠航海致富的西顿商人哪！要静默无言。在大水之上，西曷的谷物、尼罗河的庄稼，都是推罗的收益，推罗成了列国的市场。西顿啊，要惭愧！因为大海说过，就是海上的保障说过：“我没有受过产痛，也没有生产；我没有养大过男孩，也没有抚养过童女。”

照样，善行也是明显的，就算不明显，也不能隐藏。

他不呼喊，也不扬声，也不叫人在街上听见他的声音。

到义伯仑、利合、哈们、加拿，直到西顿大城；又转到拉玛，直到设防的城推罗；再转到何萨，直通到海岸靠近亚革悉的地区；

“人子啊！你要面向西顿，说预言攻击它，你要说：‘主耶和华这样说：西顿啊，我要与你为敌！我要在你中间得荣耀。我在它身上施行审判，彰显我的圣洁的时候，人就知道我是耶和华。

西布伦必在沿海地带居住，他必成为船只停泊的港口，他的边界必伸到西顿。

他又说：“受压制的西顿居民哪，你们不再有欢乐了！起来，过到塞浦路斯去！就是在那里，你们也得不到安息。”

迦南生了长子西顿，又生赫，
