耶穌和門徒退到湖邊，有一大群人從加利利來跟隨祂。還有很多人聽見耶穌所做的一切，就從猶太、耶路撒冷、以土買、約旦河東，甚至泰爾和西頓一帶來找祂。

祂說：「哥拉汛啊，你大禍臨頭了！伯賽大啊，你大禍臨頭了！我在你們當中所行的神蹟，如果行在泰爾和西頓，那裡的人早就身披麻衣，頭蒙灰塵，悔改了。

耶穌對他們說：「你們私下跟我到僻靜的地方去歇一會兒吧。」因為當時來來往往找他們的人實在太多，他們連吃飯的時間都沒有。他們乘船悄悄地到了一處僻靜的地方。

耶穌進了房子，那兩個瞎子來到祂面前。耶穌問他們：「你們相信我能做這事嗎？」他們說：「主啊，我們相信。」

「人子啊，你去告訴泰爾王，主耶和華這樣說，『你心裡高傲，說，我是神，我坐在海中神的寶座上。你雖然自以為像神，但事實上你不是神，不過是人。

幾天後，耶穌回到迦百農。祂在家的消息一傳開，

迦南的疆域從西頓向基拉耳延伸，遠至迦薩，再向所多瑪、蛾摩拉、押瑪、洗扁延伸，遠至拉沙。

以下是關於泰爾的預言：他施的船隻哀號吧！因為從基提傳來消息，說泰爾已被毀滅，房屋和港口都蕩然無存。海邊的居民，西頓的商賈啊，要靜默無言。你們的商人飄洋過海，把西曷的糧食、尼羅河流域的農產都運到泰爾。泰爾成為列國的商埠。西頓啊，你要羞愧！你這海上的堡壘啊，大海否認你，說：「我沒有經歷過產痛，沒有生過孩子，也未曾養育過兒女。」

同樣，有些善行很明顯，不明顯的也不會被長久埋沒。

祂不喧嚷，不呼喊，不在街上高聲說話。

再經義伯崙、利合、哈門、加拿直到西頓大城；再轉到拉瑪、堅固的泰爾城，然後轉到何薩和亞革悉一帶，直到地中海。

「人子啊，你要說預言斥責西頓，告訴她，主耶和華這樣說，『西頓啊，我要與你為敵，我要在你身上得到榮耀。我要審判你，彰顯我的聖潔，人們就知道我是耶和華。

「西布倫必安居在海濱，成為泊船的港口，他的疆界必伸展到西頓。

祂說：「受欺壓的西頓人啊，你們再也不能歡樂了！你們就是逃到基提，也得不到安寧。」

迦南生長子西頓和次子赫，
