你要保守你心，勝過保守一切，因為生命的泉源由心發出。

在潔淨的人，凡物都潔淨；在污穢不信的人，甚麼都不潔淨，連心地和天良也都污穢了。

就對他們說：「你們知道，猶太人和別國的人結交來往本是不合規矩的，但上帝已經指示我，無論甚麼人都不可看作污俗或不潔淨的。

因為上帝的國不在乎飲食，而在乎公義、和平及聖靈中的喜樂。

耶穌說：「連你們也還不明白嗎？

彼得卻說：「主啊，絕對不可！凡污俗和不潔淨的東西，我從來沒有吃過。」第二次有聲音再對他說：「上帝所潔淨的，你不可當作污俗的。」這樣一連三次，那東西隨即收回天上去了。

這些事只不過是有關飲食和各種潔淨的規矩，是屬肉體的條例，它的功效是直到新次序的時期來到為止。

但是要寫信吩咐他們禁戒偶像所玷污的東西、血和勒死的牲畜，禁戒淫亂。因為歷代以來，摩西的書在各城都有人宣講，每逢安息日，也在會堂裏誦讀。」

我說：『主啊，絕對不可！凡污俗或不潔淨的東西從來沒有進過我的口。』第二次，有聲音從天上回答：『上帝所潔淨的，你不可當作污俗的。』這樣一連三次，然後一切就都收回天上去了。

毒蛇的孽種啊，你們既是惡人，怎能說出好話來呢？因為心裏所充滿的，口裏就說出來。

你們不要被種種怪異的教訓勾引了去，因為人的心靠恩典得堅固才是好的，並不是靠飲食。那在飲食上用心的，從來沒有得到益處。

他們禁止嫁娶，又禁戒食物－就是上帝所造、讓那信而明白真理的人存感謝的心領受的。上帝所造之物樣樣都是好的，若存感謝的心領受，沒有一樣是不可吃的，都因上帝的話和人的祈禱而成為聖潔了。

耶穌對他們說：「你們也是這樣不明白嗎？難道你們不了解，凡從外面進去的不能玷污人嗎？因為不是進入他的心，而是進入他的肚子，又排入廁所。」（這是說，各樣的食物都是潔淨的。）耶穌又說：「從人裏面出來的，那才玷污人；因為從人心裏發出種種惡念，如淫亂、偷盜、兇殺、姦淫、貪婪、邪惡、詭詐、淫蕩、嫉妒、毀謗、驕傲、狂妄。這一切的惡都是從裏面出來，且能玷污人。」

凡市場上所賣的，你們只管吃，不要為良心的緣故問甚麼，
