在潔淨的人、凡物都潔淨，在染污的和不信的人、甚麼都不潔淨，反而連他們的心思和良知也都染污了。

便對他們說：『你們自己也知道猶太族的人和異族人接近或往來，本是違背律例的；但對於我、上帝已經指示、不要說甚麼人是凡俗而不潔淨的。

因為上帝的國不在乎喫喝，乃在乎正義和平與喜樂都在聖靈之感動中。

耶穌說：『連你們到如今還是蒙昧麼？

彼得說：『主啊，千萬不可；因為各樣俗污不潔淨之物、我從來沒有喫過。』聲音又第二次對他說：『上帝所潔淨的、你別當作俗污了。』這樣有三次，那器物就被接上、到天上去了。

只是關於飲食和幾樣不同的洗濯、不過是屬肉身的律例、制定着到改正時期為止罷了。

只要寫信、叫他們禁戒偶像的觸污和淫亂、跟禁喫勒死的動物和血。因為論到摩西嘛、從古代以來，在各城裏自有宣傳他的人，每安息日在會堂裏、他的書都被宣讀着。』

我說：「主啊，千萬不可！因為俗污或不潔淨之物、從來就沒有進過我的口。」聲音第二次從天上回答說：「上帝所潔淨的、你別當作俗污了。」這樣有三次，一切就都向天上拉回上去。

毒蛇的種啊，你們既然邪惡，怎能說出美善來呢？因為由於心裏所充溢的，口就說出來。

別被各殊而怪異的教訓引入歧途了；因為心靠恩惠而得堅固、不靠食物、才是好的；那些專在食物上過生活的人、從沒得過益處。

他們禁止嫁娶，禁戒食物，就是上帝所創造、給信徒和認識真理的人用感謝心享受的。上帝創造之物都是好的；用感謝心領受，沒有一樣是可棄的；因為藉着上帝的話語和人的祈求、已成聖別了。

耶穌就對他們說：『連你們也是這樣蒙昧麼？豈不了悟、凡從外面進入人的、並不能使他俗污麼？因為不是進了他的心，乃是入了他的肚子，又放出來到廁所裏，使各樣食物都化淨了。』他又說：『從人心裏出來的、那才能使人俗污呢。因為從裏面、從人心裏、發出來的有惡念、淫亂、偷竊、兇殺、姦淫、貪婪、邪惡、詭詐、邪蕩、小心眼兒、毁謗、狂傲、愚妄：這一切惡都是從人心裏出來，並且能使人俗污。』

凡肉市上所賣的、你們只管喫；為着良知的緣故、不要問甚麼；
