當謹守你的心，勝過保守一切，因為生命的泉源由心而出。

對潔淨的人，一切都是潔淨的；對汙穢和不信的人，沒有一樣是潔淨的，就是他們的理性和良心也都被汙穢了。

就對他們說：「你們知道，猶太人和外族人交往或親近是律法所禁止的。但是神指示我，不要把任何人當做俗的或不潔淨的。

因為神的國不在於吃喝，而在於聖靈裡的公義、和睦、喜樂。

耶穌說：「到如今，你們也無知嗎？

彼得卻說：「主啊，千萬不可！因為我從來沒有吃過任何俗物和不潔淨的東西。」那聲音第二次又對他說：「神所潔淨的，你不可當做汙穢的。」這樣一連有三次，那東西隨即被收回天上去了。

因為這些只是關於飲食和各種洗淨禮，是屬肉體的規定，一直實施到更新的時候為止。

不過要寫信給他們：要遠避偶像的汙穢，遠避淫亂、勒死的動物和血。因為自古以來，在各城裡都有人宣講摩西，每逢安息日在各會堂裡都有人誦讀他的書。」

我說：『主啊，千萬不可！因為俗物或不潔淨的東西，從來沒有入過我的口。』那聲音第二次從天上傳來，說：『神所潔淨的，你不可當做汙穢的。』這樣一連有三次，然後所有的東西又被收回天上去了。

你們這些毒蛇的子孫！你們做為惡人，怎麼能說出善的來呢？因為心裡所充滿的，口裡就說出來。

你們不要被各種怪異的教導引入歧途，因為人的心靠恩典，不靠食物規定得以確立才是好的；那靠食物規定而行事的人，從來沒有得到什麼益處。

他們禁止結婚，要求遠避某些食物，就是神所創造的，好讓信徒和了解真理的人以感謝的心享用。原來神所造的一切都是美好的；如果以感謝的心領受，就什麼也不用丟棄，因為藉著神的話語、藉著代求，這些都被分別為聖了。

耶穌說：「你們也是這樣無知嗎？你們難道不明白一切從外面進到人裡面的，不能使人汙穢嗎？因為這些東西不是進到人的心裡，而是進入肚子，然後排到廁所裡去。」耶穌這樣就使一切食物都潔淨。他接著說：「從人裡面出來的，那才使人汙穢。因為從裡面，就是從人心裡發出種種惡念：淫亂、偷竊、殺人、通姦、貪心、惡意、欺詐、好色、嫉妒、毀謗、驕傲、愚妄，這一切邪惡都是從人裡面出來的，而且使人汙穢。」

肉市上所賣的一切，你們都可以吃；不要為了良心的緣故而問什麼，
