Brood of vipers! How can you speak good things when you are evil? For the mouth speaks from the overflow of the heart.

Don’t be led astray by various kinds of strange teachings; for it is good for the heart to be established by grace and not by food regulations, since those who observe them have not benefited.

They forbid marriage and demand abstinence from foods that God created to be received with gratitude by those who believe and know the truth.For everything created by God is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving,since it is sanctified by the word of God and by prayer.

He said to them,“ Are you also as lacking in understanding? Don’t you realize that nothing going into a person from the outside can defile him?For it doesn’t go into his heart but into the stomach and is eliminated”( thus he declared all foods clean).And he said,“ What comes out of a person is what defiles him.For from within, out of people’s hearts, come evil thoughts, sexual immoralities, thefts, murders,adulteries, greed, evil actions, deceit, self-indulgence, envy, slander, pride, and foolishness.All these evil things come from within and defile a person.”
