Thus you nullify the word of God by your tradition that you have handed down. And you do many things like that.”

又曰：『爾曹之所以廢棄天主誡命、而維護爾之習俗者、亦已巧矣！

勿復置信於猶太人無稽之談、及一般背道者之偽律。

勿以我來為廢律法、或先知之言、我來非為破壞、實為玉成。吾實語爾、天地未逝、律中無一點一畫可以廢棄、以迨諸事之成。是故人若違犯一至微之誡命、且以此教人者、天國中必小之。惟篤踐誡命、而又能以此教人者、在天國中乃稱為大。蓋吾語爾、苟爾之仁義、無以尚乎經生與法利塞人者、爾必不得進天國也。

蓋法利塞人與猶太之民、拘泥古人遺規、非盥其指不食、

迷惑異端、嫉妒殘殺、沉醉荒宴等類皆是。吾夙已言之、今復鄭重相告、凡行此等事者、必不得承受天主之國也。

乃無須養其父母。」是爾以人之傳習、廢天主之道也。
