And wherever he went— into villages, towns or countryside— they placed the sick in the marketplaces. They begged him to let them touch even the edge of his cloak, and all who touched it were healed.

He went into the villages, the towns and the countryside. Everywhere he went, the people brought the sick to the market areas. Those who were sick begged him to let them touch just the edge of his clothes. And all who touched his clothes were healed.

And wherever he came, in villages, cities, or countryside, they laid the sick in the marketplaces and implored him that they might touch even the fringe of his garment. And as many as touched it were made well.

Just then, a woman who had suffered from bleeding for 12 years approached from behind and touched the tassel on His robe,

“ Speak to the Israelites and tell them that throughout their generations they are to make tassels for the corners of their garments, and put a blue cord on the tassel at each corner.These will serve as tassels for you to look at, so that you may remember all the Lord’s commands and obey them and not become unfaithful by following your own heart and your own eyes.

Since He had healed many, all who had diseases were pressing toward Him to touch Him.

As a result, they would carry the sick out into the streets and lay them on cots and mats so that when Peter came by, at least his shadow might fall on some of them.

The whole crowd was trying to touch Him, because power was coming out from Him and healing them all.

Once, as the Israelites were burying a man, suddenly they saw a raiding party, so they threw the man into Elisha’s tomb. When he touched Elisha’s bones, the man revived and stood up!

If we are being examined today about a good deed done to a disabled man— by what means he was healed—

approached from behind and touched the tassel of His robe. Instantly her bleeding stopped.

Having heard about Jesus, she came behind Him in the crowd and touched His robe.For she said,“ If I can just touch His robes, I’ll be made well!”

There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to people, and we must be saved by it.”

But Jesus responded,“ No more of this!” And touching his ear, He healed him.
