And being afraid they marvelled, saying one to another, Who then is this, that he commandeth even the winds and the water, and they obey him?

And they were beyond measure astonished, saying, He hath done all things well; he maketh even the deaf to hear, and the dumb to speak.

And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee upon the waters.And he said, Come. And Peter went down from the boat, and walked upon the waters to come to Jesus.But when he saw the wind, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried out, saying, Lord, save me.And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and took hold of him, and saith unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?And when they were gone up into the boat, the wind ceased.

And he arose, and straightway took up the bed, and went forth before them all; insomuch that they were all amazed, and glorified God, saying, We never saw it on this fashion.

And they were all amazed, insomuch that they questioned among themselves, saying, What is this? a new teaching! with authority he commandeth even the unclean spirits, and they obey him.

And straightway the damsel rose up, and walked; for she was twelve years old. And they were amazed straightway with a great amazement.

And they went away in the boat to a desert place apart.

And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, Who then is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?

The floods have lifted up, O Jehovah, The floods have lifted up their voice; The floods lift up their waves.Above the voices of many waters, The mighty breakers of the sea, Jehovah on high is mighty.

Then they cry unto Jehovah in their trouble, And he bringeth them out of their distresses.He maketh the storm a calm, So that the waves thereof are still.Then are they glad because they are quiet; So he bringeth them unto their desired haven.
