你們無論做甚麼，或說話或行事，都要奉主耶穌的名，藉着他感謝父神。

神所造之物樣樣都是好的，若存感謝的心領受，沒有一樣是不可吃的，都因神的話和人的祈禱而成為聖潔了。

拿着這七個餅和幾條魚，祝謝了，擘開，遞給門徒；門徒又遞給眾人。

另外有幾條從提比哩亞來的小船，卻停靠在主祝謝後給他們吃餅的地方附近。

耶穌說了這些話，就舉目望天，說：「父啊，時候到了，願你榮耀你的兒子，使兒子也榮耀你；

他們吃的時候，耶穌拿起餅來，祝福了，就擘開，遞給門徒，說：「你們拿去，吃吧。這是我的身體。」

所以，你們或吃或喝，無論做甚麼，都要為榮耀神而做。

於是他們把石頭挪開。耶穌舉目望天，說：「父啊，我感謝你，因為你已經聽了我。

你吃得飽足，要稱頌耶和華－你的神，因為他將那美地賜給你。」

守日子的人是為主守的。吃的人是為主吃的，因他感謝神；不吃的人是為主不吃的，他也感謝神。

耶穌拿起餅來，祝謝了，就分給坐着的人，也同樣分了魚，都照他們所要的來分。

保羅說了這話，就拿起餅來，在眾人面前祝謝了神，然後擘開來吃。
