希羅底之女入而舞、希律與同席者皆喜、王謂女曰、隨爾所欲以求、我必予爾、

黑落娣女起舞為壽、合席歡然。王謂女曰：『任汝所求、必予汝。』

When the daughter of Herodias came in and danced, she pleased Herod and his dinner guests. The king said to the girl,“ Ask me for anything you want, and I’ll give it to you.”

Then the daughter of Herodias came in and danced. She pleased Herod and his dinner guests. The king said to the girl,“ Ask me for anything you want. I’ll give it to you.”

For when Herodias’s daughter came in and danced, she pleased Herod and his guests. And the king said to the girl,“ Ask me for whatever you wish, and I will give it to you.”

Then his daughter, also named Herodias, came in and performed a dance that greatly pleased Herod and his guests.“ Ask me for anything you like,” the king said to the girl,“ and I will give it to you.”

When Herodias’s own daughter came in and danced, she pleased Herod and his guests. The king said to the girl,“ Ask me whatever you want, and I’ll give it to you.”

到了希律生日的那天，希羅底的女兒在眾人面前跳舞，希律非常高興，

伯沙撒喝酒歡暢的時候，下令把他先祖尼布甲尼撒從耶路撒冷聖殿裡掠取的金銀器皿拿來，好讓他和他的大臣、妻妾、妃嬪用這些器皿來喝酒。

第七日，亞哈隨魯王因飲酒心裡高興，就吩咐侍候在他面前的七個太監：米戶幔、比斯他、哈波拿、比革他、亞拔他、西達、甲迦，去請王后瓦實提，戴著后冕到王面前，使眾人和大臣欣賞她的美麗；因為她的容貌很美。王后瓦實提卻不肯遵照王藉著太監所傳的命令，所以王非常生氣，怒火中燒。

耶和華又說：“因為錫安的女子高傲，走路挺直頸項，媚眼看人，俏步徐行，用腳發出叮噹聲。因此，主必使錫安的女子頭頂長出禿瘡；耶和華又使她們露出前額。”到那日，主必除掉她們華美的腳釧、髮網、月牙圈、耳墜、手鐲、蒙臉的帕子、頭飾、腳環、華帶、香盒、符囊、戒指、鼻環、美服、外衣、錢袋、鏡子、細麻襯衣、頭巾、蒙身帕子。必有腐臭代替馨香，繩子代替腰帶，光禿代替美髮，麻衣繫腰代替美服，烙痕代替美貌。你的男丁要倒在刀下，你的勇士必死在戰場。錫安的城門必悲哀哭號，錫安被掠奪，成了一片荒涼後，必坐在地上。
