But when Herod heard[ thereof], he said, It is John, whom I beheaded: he is risen from the dead.

And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.

And Herod said, John have I beheaded: but who is this, of whom I hear such things? And he desired to see him.

Saying, I have sinned in that I have betrayed the innocent blood. And they said, What[ is that] to us? see thou[ to that].

And in the vine[ were] three branches: and it[ was] as though it budded,[ and] her blossoms shot forth; and the clusters thereof brought forth ripe grapes:And Pharaoh’s cup[ was] in my hand: and I took the grapes, and pressed them into Pharaoh’s cup, and I gave the cup into Pharaoh’s hand.

And said unto his servants, This is John the Baptist; he is risen from the dead; and therefore mighty works do shew forth themselves in him.

There were they in great fear,[ where] no fear was: for God hath scattered the bones of him that encampeth[ against] thee: thou hast put[ them] to shame, because God hath despised them.
