Immediately the girl stood up and began to walk around( she was twelve years old). At this they were completely astonished.

The girl was 12 years old. Right away she stood up and began to walk around. They were totally amazed at this.

And immediately the girl got up and began walking( for she was twelve years of age), and they were immediately overcome with amazement.

門徒們就大為驚恐，彼此說：「這個人究竟是誰？連風和浪也聽從他！」

認出他是坐在聖殿的美門口乞討的那個人，就對發生在他身上的事滿心希奇、驚訝。那個人緊拉著彼得和約翰的時候，全體民眾都一起跑向他們，到叫做「所羅門」的柱廊那裡，滿心驚奇。彼得看見，就對民眾說：「各位以色列人哪！你們為什麼對這事感到驚奇？為什麼注視我們，以為我們是憑著自己的能力或虔誠使這個人走路的呢？亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各的神，也就是我們祖先的神，已經榮耀了他的僕人耶穌。你們竟然把他交出去，並且在彼拉多判定要釋放他的時候，在彼拉多面前拒絕了他。

結果大家都驚訝不已，彼此談論說：「這是怎麼回事？！一個帶有權柄的新的教導！他命令汙靈，汙靈就都聽從他！」

接著，耶穌上了船和他們在一起。這時候風就停了。門徒們心裡感到極其驚訝，

人們極其驚訝，說：「他所做的一切都好！他甚至使聾子聽見，使啞巴說話。」
