But Jesus, overhearing what was being spoken,* said to the synagogue official,“ Do not be afraid, only believe.”

耶穌聞所告之言、謂司會堂者曰、毋懼、惟當信、

耶穌聞言、謂會董曰：『勿懼、第信。』

Overhearing what they said, Jesus told him,“ Don’t be afraid; just believe.”

Jesus heard what they were saying. He told the synagogue leader,“ Don’t be afraid. Just believe.”

But overhearing what they said, Jesus said to the ruler of the synagogue,“ Do not fear, only believe.”

But Jesus overheard them and said to Jairus,“ Don’t be afraid. Just have faith.”

As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, He said to the ruler of the synagogue,“ Do not be afraid; only believe.”

But Jesus, not heeding the word spoken, saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Fear not, only believe.

But when Jesus overheard what was said, He told the synagogue leader,“ Don’t be afraid. Only believe.”

As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe.

But Jesus, paying no attention to what was said, told the synagogue ruler,“ Do not be afraid; just believe.”

But Jesus, when he heard the message spoken, immediately said to the ruler of the synagogue,“ Don’t be afraid, only believe.”

But when Jesus heard this, He responded to him,“ Do not be afraid any longer; only believe, and she will be made well.”

And after He entered the house, the men who were blind came up to Him, and Jesus* said to them,“ Do you believe that I am able to do this?” They* said to Him,“ Yes, Lord.”Then He touched their eyes, saying,“ It shall be done for you according to your faith.”

And He said to her,“ Daughter, your faith has made you well; go in peace and be cured of your disease.”

In hope against hope he believed, so that he might become a father of many nations according to that which had been spoken,“ So shall your descendants be.”Without becoming weak in faith he contemplated his own body, now as good as dead since he was about a hundred years old, and the deadness of Sarah’s womb;yet, with respect to the promise of God, he did not waver in unbelief but grew strong in faith, giving glory to God,and being fully assured that what God had promised, He was able also to perform.Therefore it was also credited to him as righteousness.Now not for his sake only was it written that it was credited to him,but for our sake also, to whom it will be credited, to us who believe in Him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead,

But Jesus said to him,“ ‘ If You can?’ All things are possible for the one who believes.”

Jesus* said to her,“ Did I not say to you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?”

They rose early in the morning and went out to the wilderness of Tekoa; and when they went out, Jehoshaphat stood and said,“ Listen to me, Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem: Put your trust in the Lord your God and you will endure. Put your trust in His prophets, and succeed.”

Then Jesus said to him,“ Unless you people see signs and wonders, you simply will not believe.”The royal official* said to Him,“ Sir, come down before my child dies.”Jesus* said to him,“ Go; your son is alive.” The man believed the word that Jesus spoke to him and went home.

And He* said to them,“ Because of your meager faith; for truly I say to you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain,‘ Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.”
