When they came to Jesus, they saw the man who had been possessed by the legion of demons, sitting there, dressed and in his right mind; and they were afraid.

厥妹瑪麗、靜坐足前聆訓。

耶穌復登舟、患魔者求之、欲常得追隨左右、

聲名洋溢乎敘利亞。凡舁染恙、患病、負痛、中魔、顛癇、癱痿者至前、悉救治之。

魔見逐、瘖者言。眾皆驚異曰：『義塞國中、從未睹此。』

夫人亦安能貿然入強者之室、而掠其貨乎？必先縛強者、然後可掠其室也。

眾出觀其事、至耶穌處、則見甫脫於魔者、正襟危坐耶穌足前、神志清明、眾皆駭絕。目擊者遂以此人見療事、一一為眾述之。

目擊者且為眾道其始末。

蓋一加鐵索、即斷索毀梏、莫之能制也。
