爾曹初未行此、我儕未循所定之例、求問主我之天主、故主我之天主降災於我儕、

彼眾必大驚懼、因天主保祐善類、

耶穌登岸、有人自城出、遇之、乃久為諸魔所憑、不衣衣、不處室、而居塜者、

爾曰、勇士所攘、豈能奪之歸、被擄者雖為善人、豈得解救、主如是云、勇士所擄、亦能奪歸、強者所攘、亦能解救、敵爾者、我必敵之、必拯救爾之諸子、

婦有妹名瑪利亞、坐耶穌足下聽其言、

其尊榮不使爾畏乎、其威嚴不使爾懼乎、

耶穌登舟時、前患魔者、求耶穌許與之偕、

其聲名揚於敘利亞遍地、凡身有疾、負各種病痛者、及患魔者、癲癇者、癱瘓者、人攜之就耶穌、耶穌悉醫愈之、

魔被逐、瘖啞者即能言、眾奇曰、以色列中、從未見有如是者、

人何以能入勇士之室、而刼其家具乎、非先縛勇士、而後刼其室乎、

眾出欲觀所為、就耶穌、見魔所離之人、衣衣自若、坐於耶穌足前、遂懼、見者以患魔之人如何得救告之、

見者以患魔者所遇、及群豕之事告眾、

是日大衛畏懼天主、曰、天主之匱、我豈可請至我所乎、

人屢以桎梏鐵索拘之、則斷鐵索、毀桎梏、無能制之者、
