親愛之兄弟其知之、各宜疾於聽、徐於言、緩於怒、蓋人之怒、非成上帝之義也、故宜去諸污穢惡慝、以謙和承所種之道、即能救爾靈者、惟宜行道、不第聞之而自欺也、

是鞫也、因光臨世、而人愛暗愈於光、以其行惡也、蓋凡為惡者、惡光而不就之、恐其所行見責、惟行真理者、就光以彰其行、乃遵上帝而行焉、○

充以義之實、由耶穌基督、致榮與頌歸於上帝、○

大聲呼號、勿限止焉、揚聲如角、以其罪咎告於我民、以其愆尤示雅各家、

凡受之者、即信其名者、則賜之權、為上帝子、其生也、非由血氣、非由情欲、非由人意、乃由上帝也、

既有入其安息之許、故宜戒懼、免爾或有不及之者、蓋福音宣於我儕、如於彼然、但所聞無益於彼、因聞之者不以信融洽之也、

沃壤者、猶人聽道、以善良之心守之、恆忍而結實、○

人願行其旨、必知斯訓、或由上帝、或我由己而言矣、
