祂在众圣者的会中大受敬畏，祂的威严无与伦比。

门徒很惊奇，说：“祂究竟是什么人？连风浪都听祂的！”

你们要单单敬畏耶和华，全心全意地事奉他，想想他为你们做了何等伟大的事。

耶稣对他们说：“你们的信心在哪里呢？”门徒又惊又怕，彼此议论说：“祂究竟是谁？一发命令，连风浪都听祂的！”

他们上了船，风浪就平静了。

主啊，谁敢不敬畏你，不尊崇你的名呢？因为只有你是圣洁的，万民都必到你面前敬拜你，因为你公义的作为已经彰显出来了。”

说，‘你到此为止，不可越界；你狂傲的波涛要停在这里。’

那妇人害怕得发抖，她知道在自己身上发生了什么事，于是上前俯伏在耶稣面前，将实情说了出来。

于是，撒母耳向耶和华呼求，耶和华便在当天打雷降雨，民众非常害怕耶和华和撒母耳。他们求撒母耳，说：“求你为仆人们向你的上帝耶和华祈祷，免得我们死亡！因为我们要求立王是罪上加罪。”撒母耳说：“不要害怕，你们虽然做了这恶事，但不可离开耶和华，要全心全意地事奉祂。

我与他所立的是生命和平安之约，我将生命和平安赐给他，使他心存敬畏。他就尊崇我，敬畏我的名。

然后他们把约拿抬起来抛进海里，狂风巨浪立刻平静了。众人都极其敬畏耶和华，向祂献祭，并且许愿。

约拿回答说：“我是希伯来人，我敬畏耶和华，祂是创造海洋陆地、掌管诸天的上帝。”之后，他就把怎样逃避耶和华的事告诉他们。众人知道后，万分恐惧，问他：“你怎么做出这种事？”

听见的人都十分惊奇，说：“祂做的事好极了，甚至叫聋子听见，哑巴说话！”

那么，既然我们承受的是一个不能被震动的国度，就要感恩，用虔诚和敬畏的心事奉上帝，讨祂喜悦。

大家都很惊讶，彼此议论说：“这是怎么回事？祂的话竟然带着权柄和能力，一吩咐污鬼，它们就出来了！”
