You calm the raging seas and their roaring waves, as well as the commotion made by the nations.

You rule over the proud sea. When its waves surge, you calm them.

The LORD sits enthroned over the engulfing waters, the LORD sits enthroned as the eternal king.

when he gave the sea his decree that the waters should not pass over his command, when he marked out the foundations of the earth,

“ You should fear me!” says the LORD.“ You should tremble in awe before me! I made the sand to be a boundary for the sea, a permanent barrier that it can never cross. Its waves may roll, but they can never prevail. They may roar, but they can never cross beyond that boundary.”

when I said,‘ To here you may come and no farther, here your proud waves will be confined’?

O fire and hail, snow and clouds, O stormy wind that carries out his orders,

The waves roar, O LORD, the waves roar, the waves roar and crash.Above the sound of the surging water, and the mighty waves of the sea, the LORD sits enthroned in majesty.

Your shout made the waters retreat; at the sound of your thunderous voice they hurried off–as the mountains rose up, and the valleys went down– to the place you appointed for them.You set up a boundary for them that they could not cross, so that they would not cover the earth again.

For the Lord will not reject us forever.

He shouts a battle cry against the seaand makes it dry up; he makes all the rivers run dry. Bashan and Carmel wither; the blossom of Lebanon withers.

So the Israelites went through the middle of the sea on dry ground, the water forming a wall for them on their right and on their left.

So he stood over her, commanded the fever, and it left her. Immediately she got up and began to serve them.

The water returned and covered the chariots and the horsemen and all the army of Pharaoh that was coming after the Israelites into the sea– not so much as one of them survived!But the Israelites walked on dry ground in the middle of the sea, the water forming a wall for them on their right and on their left.

Now when Jesus saw that a crowd was quickly gathering, he rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it,“ Mute and deaf spirit, I command you, come out of him and never enter him again.”

And as for you, lift up your staff and extend your hand toward the sea and divide it, so that the Israelites may go through the middle of the sea on dry ground.
