Jesus was in the stern, sleeping on a cushion. The disciples woke him and said to him,“ Teacher, don’t you care if we drown?”

And yet Jesus Himself was in the stern, asleep on the cushion; and they* woke Him and* said to Him,“ Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?”

以所慮之事付上帝、上帝眷顧爾、

蓋吾之祭司長、能體恤吾荏弱、彼於凡事、歷試諸艱、亦如我然、惟未罹於罪、

耶和華與、毋遐棄予、毋扑責予、毋屯爾膏。

如爾勤求上帝、乞恩於全能之主、躬行仁義、皭然無玷、上帝即佑之、使爾全家孳孳為善、振興可必。

主豈永棄我躬、不復加以矜憫、靳其仁慈、弗踐其應許兮、上帝詎忘其恩澤、絕其哀矜、而懷震怒兮。予也返躬自思、知頃所言、反以自害兮、至上之主、在昔所為、余必思維兮、

亭午、以利亞戲之曰、可大聲而呼、彼乃上帝、或默想、或燕居、或遠行、或假寐、爾必使其儆醒。遂大聲呼籲、以刃以匕自割其肉、迨及血流、循其常例。至午後、近獻祭之時、彼偽為憑神而言、實無聲響、亦無應對而垂顧之者。

爾可擬女子、幼時適人、後為夫所棄、愀然以憂、今我耶和華、爾之上帝、召爾旋歸。我棄爾不過俄頃、必加厚恩、納爾以歸、我耶和華爾之救主、忽生憤怒、暫遐棄爾、後施矜恤、永世靡暨。

何患難時、耶和華遙立、弗眷顧兮、惡者驕肆、虐遇貧乏、設謀以陷之兮、

門徒就而醒之曰、主、救我亡矣、

惟爾雅各家以色列族、曷言乎我之上帝耶和華、不鑒察予、不眷顧予。夫耶和華永生之上帝、創造地極者也、爾豈未之知、未之聞耶、其力不疲、其智莫測、

郇邑之民、當言我主耶和華棄予忘予。夫婦豈忘哺乳之子、不慈甫產之嬰、彼或忘子、我不忘爾。爾之城垣、我畫諸掌上、常在目前、

主居穹蒼、聖殿輝煌、昔則熱中、展其大能、矜憫為懷、今也何靳爾恩、請俯視予。

先知祈曰、願耶和華、勃然而興、展厥臂力、與昔無異、昔滅喇合、擊鱷魚、豈非爾乎、使滄海水涸、中判為途、以濟得拯之民者、豈非爾乎。

耶和華兮、勃然而興、毋若假寐、毋我遐棄、日久而月長兮、奚棄予如遺、不顧我憂患兮、

故當凡事同於兄弟、為矜恤忠信之祭司長、以事上帝、而贖民罪、

我之上帝、我之上帝、何以遺予、何不聽我籲呼、而救我躬兮、上帝兮我晝籲告兮、不蒙垂聽、夜祈禱兮、不獲綏安、

門徒醒之曰、夫子、夫子、我儕亡矣、耶穌起、斥風浪、即止而平息矣、

有雅各井、

我雖籲呼、不得升聞兮。
