“我用比喻对你们说了这些话。但是时候就要到了！那时我不再用比喻对你们说话，而是要明确地告诉你们有关父的事。

彼得对耶稣说：“请把这个比喻解释给我们听。”耶稣说：“到如今，你们也无知吗？你们难道不明白：一切进入口里的，要进到肚子，然后被排到厕所；而从口里出来的，是由心里发出的，这些才使人污秽。因为从心里发出种种恶念：杀人、通奸、淫乱、偷窃、做伪证、毁谤，这些才会使人污秽；而不洗手就吃饭，不会使人污秽。”

然后，耶稣离开了人群，进了屋子。他的门徒们上前来，说：“请给我们解释一下田里稗子的比喻。”耶稣回答说：“那撒好种子的是人子。田地是这世界，这些好种子就是天国的儿女，稗子是那恶者的儿女，撒稗子的仇敌是魔鬼，收割的季节是世代的终结，收割的人是天使。就像稗子被拔出来用火烧掉，在这世代的终结也将是这样。人子要差派他的天使们，从他的国度里挑出来所有绊脚的和作恶的，把他们丢进火炉里。在那里将有哀哭和切齿。那时，义人会在他们父的国度里像太阳一样发光。凡是有耳的，就应当听！

于是耶稣从摩西和所有的先知开始，向他们解释了经上一切关于自己的话。

耶稣独自一人的时候，跟随他的人与十二使徒一起问他这些比喻的意思。

耶稣对他们说：“这就是我还与你们在一起的时候，对你们说过的话：摩西的律法、先知书和诗篇上所记的有关我的一切事，都必须应验。”于是耶稣开启他们的理性，使他们能领悟经上的话，又对他们说：“经上这样记着：基督必须受难，然后在第三天从死人中复活，

耶稣离开人群，一进了房子，他的门徒们就问他这比喻的意思。耶稣说：“你们也是这样无知吗？你们难道不明白一切从外面进到人里面的，不能使人污秽吗？因为这些东西不是进到人的心里，而是进入肚子，然后排到厕所里去。”耶稣这样就使一切食物都洁净。他接着说：“从人里面出来的，那才使人污秽。因为从里面，就是从人心里发出种种恶念：淫乱、偷窃、杀人、通奸、贪心、恶意、欺诈、好色、嫉妒、毁谤、骄傲、愚妄，这一切邪恶都是从人里面出来的，而且使人污秽。”

耶稣的门徒们问他这比喻到底是什么意思。他说：“神国的奥秘已经赐下来让你们知道，但是对其他的人就用比喻。这是为要使‘他们看，却看不见；听，却不领悟。’
