你所見的樹漸長，而且茁壯，高得頂天，全地都能看見，葉子華美，果子甚多，可作所有動物的食物；野地的走獸住在其下，天空的飛鳥宿在枝上。「王啊，這成長又茁壯的樹就是你。你的威勢成長及於天，你的權柄達到地極。

你在它面前清除雜物，它就深深扎根，蔓延滿地。它的影子遮蔽羣山，枝子好像高大的香柏樹。它長出枝子，直到大海，伸展嫩枝，延到大河。

在我聖山各處，牠們都不傷人，不害物；因為認識耶和華的知識要遍滿全地，好像水充滿海洋一般。

看哪，亞述是黎巴嫩的香柏樹，枝條榮美，蔭密如林，極其高大，樹頂高聳入雲。眾水使它生長，深水使它長高；所栽之地有江河環繞，汊出的水道流至田野的樹木。所以它高大超過田野的樹木；生長時因水源豐沛，枝子繁多，枝條增長。空中所有的飛鳥在枝子上搭窩，野地所有的走獸在枝條下生子，所有的大國也在它的蔭下居住。它樹大枝長，極為榮美，因它的根在眾水之旁。上帝園中的香柏樹不能遮蔽它；松樹不及它的枝子，楓樹不及它的枝條，上帝園中的樹都沒有它榮美。我使它枝條繁多，極為榮美；在上帝的園中，伊甸所有的樹都嫉妒它。」所以主耶和華如此說：「因它高大，樹頂高聳入雲，心高氣傲，

「我在床上腦中的異象是這樣：我觀看，看哪，大地中間有一棵樹，極其高大。那樹漸長，而且茁壯，高得頂天，從地極都能看見，葉子華美，果子甚多，可作所有動物的食物；野地的走獸臥在蔭下，天空的飛鳥宿在枝上，凡有血肉的都從這樹得食物。「我觀看，我在床上腦中的異象是這樣，看哪，有守望者，就是神聖的一位，從天而降，大聲呼叫說：『砍倒這樹！砍下枝子！拔掉葉子！拋散果子！使走獸逃離樹下，飛鳥躲開樹枝。

但義人的路好像黎明的光，越照越明，直到正午。

住在至高者隱密處的，必住在全能者的蔭下。

必有一人如避風港，如暴風雨的藏身處；如乾旱地的溪流，又如乾燥地巨石的陰影。

耶和華的受膏者是我們鼻中的氣，被抓到他們的坑裏，論到他，我們曾說：「我們必在他蔭下，在列國中存活。」

我的良人在男子中，如同蘋果樹在樹林裏。我歡歡喜喜坐在他的蔭下，嘗他果子的滋味，覺得甘甜。
