你在它面前預備了地土，它就深深扎根，充滿大地。它的影子遮蓋了群山，它的枝條遮蓋了高大的香柏樹。它伸出枝葉直到海洋，它的嫩枝直到大河。

在我整個聖山上，這一切都不會帶來傷害或毀滅；因為有關耶和華的知識必充滿大地，如同眾水盈滿海洋。

我在床上時，我腦海中的異象是這樣的：我正在觀看，看哪，在大地中間有一棵樹，極其高大！這樹繼續長大，變得茁壯，高達於天，全地極都能看到；它的葉子美麗，果實繁多，足以給眾生作食物；田野的走獸在它之下得蔭庇，天空的飛鳥在它的枝子上住宿，一切有血肉的都從它得供養。「我在床上時，我在腦海中的異象裡繼續觀看，看哪，有一位守望者，就是一位聖者，從天上降下！他大聲高呼，這樣說：『你們當砍倒這樹，砍掉它的枝子，打落它的葉子，拋散它的果實；使走獸從樹下逃離，使飛鳥從樹枝逃離！

但義人的路途如同黎明的光輝，越來越亮，直到正午；

住在至高者隱祕處的，將安居在全能者的蔭庇下。

個個都像避風所和避暴雨的隱祕處，又像荒漠中的溪水，像乾旱之地大磐石的蔭庇。
