你所见的树渐长，而且坚强，高达于天，全地的人都看得到。它的叶子美丽，果实繁多，所有的生物都从它得到食物；野地的走兽住在它下面，空中的飞鸟栖在它的枝头上。王啊！你就是那树，越来越伟大坚强；你的威势渐长，高达于天；你的权柄直到地极。

你为它预备了地土，它就深深扎根，充满全地。它的荫影遮盖了群山，它的枝条遮盖了高大的香柏树。它的枝条伸展，直到大海；它的幼苗，直到大河。

在我整个圣山上面，这一切都不行伤害或毁灭之事；因为认识耶和华的知识要充满大地，好像海水覆盖海洋一般。

看哪！亚述曾是黎巴嫩的香柏树，枝条秀美，林影茂密，树身高大，树顶在茂密的枝叶之上。众水使它长大，深渊使它长高；有江河从深渊流出环绕它栽种之地，又有支流延到田间的众树。因此，它树身高大，高过田间的众树；它发旺生长的时候，因为水源丰足，所以枝子繁多，枝条长长。空中的飞鸟都在枝上搭窝；田野的走兽都在枝条下生产；所有大国都在它的树荫下居住。它树身高大，枝条长长而显得秀美，因为它的根扎在水多的地方。神园中的香柏树不能与它相比，松树比不上它的枝子；枫树也不及它的枝条；神园中所有的树木都比不上它的秀美。我使它因枝条繁多而显得秀美，以致在神的园中，伊甸所有的树木都嫉妒它。“‘因此，主耶和华这样说：因为它树身高大，树顶在茂密的枝叶之上，又因它高大而心骄气傲，

义人的路径却像黎明的曙光，越来越明亮，直到日午。

住在至高者的隐密处的，必在全能者的荫庇下安居。

必有一人像避风所，和避暴雨的隐密处，像干旱之地的溪水，又像疲乏之地的大磐石的阴影。

耶和华所膏立的，我们鼻孔的气息，在他们的陷坑中被捉住；我们论到他曾说：“我们要在他的荫庇之下，在列国中存活。”

我的良人在男子中，好像树林里的一棵苹果树；我欢欢喜喜地坐在它的荫下，它的果子香甜合我口味。
