He also said,“ The kingdom of God is like someone who spreads seed on the ground.

He also said,“ This is what the kingdom of God is like. A man scatters seed on the ground.

Jesus also said,“ Here is what God’s kingdom is like. A farmer scatters seed on the ground.

And he said,“ The kingdom of God is as if a man should scatter seed on the ground.

Jesus also said,“ The Kingdom of God is like a farmer who scatters seed on the ground.

“ The kingdom of God is like this,” he said.“ A man scatters seed on the ground.

And He was saying,“ The kingdom of God is like a man who casts seed upon the soil;

And He said,“ The kingdom of God is as if a man should scatter seed on the ground,

And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed upon the earth;

“ The kingdom of God is like this,” He said.“ A man scatters seed on the ground;

And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground;

He said,“ God’s Kingdom is as if a man should cast seed on the earth,

He presented them with another parable:“ The kingdom of heaven is like a person who sowed good seed in his field.

You have been born anew, not from perishable but from imperishable seed, through the living and enduring word of God.For all flesh is like grass and all its glory like the flower of the grass; the grass withers and the flower falls off,but the word of the Lord endures forever. And this is the word that was proclaimed to you.

The one who reaps receives pay and gathers fruit for eternal life, so that the one who sows and the one who reaps can rejoice together.For in this instance the saying is true,‘ One sows and another reaps.’I sent you to reap what you did not work for; others have labored and you have entered into their labor.”

Sow your seed in the morning, and do not stop working until the evening; for you do not know which activity will succeed– whether this one or that one, or whether both will prosper equally.

Thus Jesus asked,“ What is the kingdom of God like? To what should I compare it?

He replied,“ You have been given the opportunity to know the secrets of the kingdom of heaven, but they have not.

From that time Jesus began to preach this message:“ Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near.”

“ A sower went out to sow his seed. And as he sowed, some fell along the path and was trampled on, and the wild birds devoured it.

I tell you the solemn truth, unless a kernel of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains by itself alone. But if it dies, it produces much grain.

I planted, Apollos watered, but God caused it to grow.So neither the one who plants counts for anything, nor the one who waters, but God who causes the growth.The one who plants and the one who waters work as one, but each will receive his reward according to his work.We are coworkers belonging to God. You are God’s field, God’s building.

The wicked person earns deceitful wages, but the one who sows righteousness reaps a genuine reward.

He gave them another parable:“ The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed that a man took and sowed in his field.

He who watches the wind will not sow, and he who observes the clouds will not reap.

“ Now the parable means this: The seed is the word of God.

“ Listen! A sower went out to sow.And as he sowed, some seed fell along the path, and the birds came and devoured it.

“ Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near.”

And the fruit that consists of righteousness is planted in peace among those who make peace.

The sower sows the word.These are the ones on the path where the word is sown: Whenever they hear, immediately Satan comes and snatches the word that was sown in them.These are the ones sown on rocky ground: As soon as they hear the word, they receive it with joy.But they have no root in themselves and do not endure. Then, when trouble or persecution comes because of the word, immediately they fall away.Others are the ones sown among thorns: They are those who hear the word,but worldly cares, the seductiveness of wealth, and the desire for other things come in and choke the word, and it produces nothing.But these are the ones sown on good soil: They hear the word and receive it and bear fruit, one thirty times as much, one sixty, and one a hundred.”

Does a farmer just keep on plowing at planting time? Does he keep breaking up and harrowing his ground?Once he has leveled its surface, does he not scatter the seed of the caraway plant, sow the seed of the cumin plant, and plant the wheat, barley, and grain in their designated places?His God instructs him; he teaches him the principles of agriculture.

He told them many things in parables, saying:“ Listen! A sower went out to sow.

He told them another parable:“ The kingdom of heaven is like yeast that a woman took and mixed with three measures of flour until all the dough had risen.”

you will be blessed, you who plant seed by all the banks of the streams, you who let your ox and donkey graze.
