你们说祸根在我身上，还想继续迫害我。

你不要害怕将要遭受的苦难。魔鬼要将你们当中的一些人下在监里，试炼你们，你们必遭受十天的迫害。但你要至死忠心，我必赐给你生命的冠冕。

这些人是从我们中间出去的，但他们不属于我们。他们如果属于我们，就会留在我们当中了。他们的离去表明他们都不属于我们。

因为不敬虔的人将被铲除，上帝将夺去他的性命。那时，他还有何指望？患难临到他时，上帝岂会垂听他的呼求？他岂会以全能者为乐，时时求告上帝？

你知道几乎所有亚细亚的人都离弃了我，其中包括腓吉路和黑摩其尼。
