故彼目視而不明、耳聞而不悟、不克遷改而得罪赦、

使其視而不明、聞而不悟、免其悔改、而罪得赦、

若輩蓋所謂視而不見、聽而不悟、惟恐其幡然回頭而見赦者耳。』

so that,“‘ they may be ever seeing but never perceiving, and ever hearing but never understanding; otherwise they might turn and be forgiven!’”

In that way,“‘ They will see but never know what they are seeing. They will hear but never understand. Otherwise they might turn and be forgiven!’ ”( Isaiah 6:9, 10)

so that“‘ they may indeed see but not perceive, and may indeed hear but not understand, lest they should turn and be forgiven.’”

so that the Scriptures might be fulfilled:‘ When they see what I do, they will learn nothing. When they hear what I say, they will not understand. Otherwise, they will turn to me and be forgiven.’”

so that they may indeed look, and yet not perceive; they may indeed listen, and yet not understand; otherwise, they might turn back and be forgiven.”

他說：「你去告訴這百姓說：『你們聽了又聽，卻不明白；看了又看，卻不曉得。』要使這百姓心蒙油脂，耳朵發沉，眼睛昏花；恐怕他們眼睛看見，耳朵聽見，心裏明白，回轉過來，就得醫治。」

他們既無知，又不思想；因為耶和華蒙蔽他們的眼，使他們看不見，塞住他們的心，使他們不明白。

「愚昧無知的百姓啊，你們有眼不看，有耳不聽，現在當聽這話。

在他們身上，正應驗了以賽亞的預言：『你們聽了又聽，卻不明白，看了又看，卻看不清。因為這百姓的心麻木，耳朵發沉，眼睛閉着，免得眼睛看見，耳朵聽見，心裏明白，回轉過來，我會醫治他們。』

但耶和華到今日還沒有使你們心能明白，眼能看見，耳能聽見。

他雖然在他們面前行了許多神蹟，他們還是不信他。這是要應驗以賽亞先知所說的話：「主啊，我們所傳的有誰信呢？主的膀臂向誰顯露呢？」他們所以不能信，因為以賽亞又說：「主使他們瞎了眼，使他們硬了心，免得他們眼睛看見，他們心裏明白，回轉過來，我會醫治他們。」以賽亞因看見了他的榮耀，就說了關於他的這話。

他說：「上帝國的奧祕只讓你們知道，至於別人，就用比喻，要他們看也看不見，聽也不明白。」

用溫柔勸導反對的人。也許上帝會給他們悔改的心能明白真理，

如經上所記：「上帝給他們昏沉的靈，眼睛看不見，耳朵聽不到，直到今日。」大衛也說：「願他們的宴席變為羅網，變為陷阱，變為絆腳石，作他們的報應。願他們的眼睛昏花，看不見；願你時常彎下他們的腰。」

「人子啊，你住在悖逆之家中；他們有眼可看卻看不見，有耳可聽卻聽不到，因為他們是悖逆之家。

我聽見以法蓮為自己悲嘆說：『你管教我，我便受管教，我如未馴服的牛犢。求你使我回轉，我便回轉，因為你是耶和華－我的上帝。我背離以後就懊悔，受教以後就捶胸；我因擔當年輕時的凌辱就抱愧蒙羞。』以法蓮是我的愛子嗎？是我喜歡的孩子嗎？我每逢責備他，仍深顧念他。因此，我的心腸牽掛着他，我必要憐憫他。這是耶和華說的。

他們間彼此不合，就分散了；未散以先，保羅說了一句話：「聖靈藉以賽亞先知向你們祖宗所說的話是對的。他說：『你去對這百姓說：你們聽了又聽，卻不明白；看了又看，卻看不清。因為這百姓的心麻木，耳朵塞着，眼睛閉着，免得眼睛看見，耳朵聽見，心裏明白，回轉過來，我會醫治他們。』

惡人若回轉離開所行的惡，行公平公義的事，他必救自己的命；因為他省察，回轉離開所犯的一切罪過，他必要存活，不致死亡。以色列家還說：『主的道不公平！』以色列家啊，我的道不公平嗎？你們的道不是不公平嗎？所以，以色列家啊，我必按你們各人所做的審判你們。當回轉，回轉離開你們一切的罪過，免得罪孽成為你們的絆腳石。這是主耶和華說的。你們要把所犯的一切罪過盡行拋棄，為自己造一個新的心和新的靈。以色列家啊，你們為甚麼要死呢？我不喜歡有任何人死亡，所以你們當回轉，要存活！這是主耶和華說的。」

所以，你們當悔改歸正，使你們的罪得以塗去，
