耶穌曰、上帝國之奧、乃賜於爾、於外人則皆以喻焉、

耶穌曰、上帝國之奧、與爾識之、惟於外人、則以譬言之、

耶穌曰、天主國之奧、乃賜爾知之、若彼外人、則悉以喻訓之、

耶穌曰：『天主國之精義妙理、惟傳授於爾等。於外人則一以譬喻出之。

He told them,“ The secret of the kingdom of God has been given to you. But to those on the outside everything is said in parables

He told them,“ The secret of God’s kingdom has been given to you. But to outsiders everything is told using stories.

And he said to them,“ To you has been given the secret of the kingdom of God, but for those outside everything is in parables,

He replied,“ You are permitted to understand the secret of the Kingdom of God. But I use parables for everything I say to outsiders,

He answered them,“ The secret of the kingdom of God has been given to you, but to those outside, everything comes in parables

And He was saying to them,“ To you has been given the mystery of the kingdom of God, but for those who are outside, everything comes in parables,

And He said to them,“ To you it has been given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God; but to those who are outside, all things come in parables,

And he said unto them, Unto you is given the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all things are done in parables:

He answered them,“ The secret of the kingdom of God has been given to you, but to those outside, everything comes in parables

And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all[ these] things are done in parables:

He said to them,“ The secret of the kingdom of God has been given to you. But to those outside, everything is in parables,

At that time, Jesus answered,“ I thank you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you hid these things from the wise and understanding, and revealed them to infants.

Walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, redeeming the time.

For what do I have to do with also judging those who are outside? Don’t you judge those who are within?But those who are outside, God judges.“ Put away the wicked man from among yourselves.”

Moreover he must have good testimony from those who are outside, to avoid falling into reproach and the snare of the devil.

He said,“ To you it is given to know the mysteries of God’s Kingdom, but to the rest in parables; that‘ seeing they may not see, and hearing they may not understand.’

Don’t be deceived, my beloved brothers.Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow.Of his own will he gave birth to us by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of first fruits of his creatures.

that you may walk properly toward those who are outside, and may have need of nothing.

For we were also once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.But when the kindness of God our Savior and his love toward mankind appeared,not by works of righteousness which we did ourselves, but according to his mercy, he saved us through the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit,whom he poured out on us richly, through Jesus Christ our Savior;that being justified by his grace, we might be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

making known to us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he purposed in him

But God, being rich in mercy, for his great love with which he loved us,even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ— by grace you have been saved—and raised us up with him, and made us to sit with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,that in the ages to come he might show the exceeding riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus;for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,not of works, that no one would boast.For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them.

He answered them,“ To you it is given to know the mysteries of the Kingdom of Heaven, but it is not given to them.For whoever has, to him will be given, and he will have abundance, but whoever doesn’t have, from him will be taken away even that which he has.Therefore I speak to them in parables, because seeing they don’t see, and hearing, they don’t hear, neither do they understand.

In that same hour Jesus rejoiced in the Holy Spirit, and said,“ I thank you, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you have hidden these things from the wise and understanding, and revealed them to little children. Yes, Father, for so it was well- pleasing in your sight.”Turning to the disciples, he said,“ All things have been delivered to me by my Father. No one knows who the Son is, except the Father, and who the Father is, except the Son, and he to whomever the Son desires to reveal him.”Turning to the disciples, he said privately,“ Blessed are the eyes which see the things that you see,for I tell you that many prophets and kings desired to see the things which you see, and didn’t see them, and to hear the things which you hear, and didn’t hear them.”

Jesus answered him,“ Blessed are you, Simon Bar Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven.

For who makes you different? And what do you have that you didn’t receive? But if you did receive it, why do you boast as if you had not received it?

“ But blessed are your eyes, for they see; and your ears, for they hear.

seeing it is God who said,“ Light will shine out of darkness,” who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
