耶穌對他們說：「神國的奧祕已經賜給你們了，但是對外人，一切都是用比喻的。

耶穌曰、上帝國之奧、乃賜於爾、於外人則皆以喻焉、

耶穌曰、上帝國之奧、與爾識之、惟於外人、則以譬言之、

耶穌曰：『天主國之精義妙理、惟傳授於爾等。於外人則一以譬喻出之。

He told them,“ The secret of the kingdom of God has been given to you. But to those on the outside everything is said in parables

He told them,“ The secret of God’s kingdom has been given to you. But to outsiders everything is told using stories.

And he said to them,“ To you has been given the secret of the kingdom of God, but for those outside everything is in parables,

He replied,“ You are permitted to understand the secret of the Kingdom of God. But I use parables for everything I say to outsiders,

He answered them,“ The secret of the kingdom of God has been given to you, but to those outside, everything comes in parables

And He was saying to them,“ To you has been given the mystery of the kingdom of God, but for those who are outside, everything comes in parables,

And He said to them,“ To you it has been given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God; but to those who are outside, all things come in parables,

And he said unto them, Unto you is given the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all things are done in parables:

He answered them,“ The secret of the kingdom of God has been given to you, but to those outside, everything comes in parables

And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all[ these] things are done in parables:

He said to them,“ The secret of the kingdom of God has been given to you. But to those outside, everything is in parables,

He said to them,“ To you is given the mystery of God’s Kingdom, but to those who are outside, all things are done in parables,

當時耶穌曰、父歟、天地之主、我讚爾、因爾藏斯道於知者達者、而顯之於赤子、

爾當以智慧待彼教會外之人、愛惜光陰、

蓋教會外者、我何為擬定之、爾當擬定者、非教會內之人乎、教會外者、天主擬定之、惟爾曹當以惡除於爾中、

亦當有令聞於教會外之人、恐遭擯斥、而陷於魔之網、○

答曰、天主國之奧、乃賜爾知之、惟於他人則設喻、使其視亦不見、聽亦不悟、

所愛之兄弟、勿差謬、凡美善之恩施、全備之賞賚、皆自上出、由光明之父而降、彼永無變易、無遷移之影、彼循己旨、以真道生我儕、使我儕於其所造之萬物中、為初實之果、○

如是、爾向外人行事合宜、而己亦無所乏也、○

昔我儕亦無知、背逆、迷惑、役於嗜慾及諸淫佚、常行暴很媢嫉之事、且為人所惡、而彼此相惡、惟我救主天主矜憐仁愛顯著之時、拯救我、非由我行義之功、乃由其矜恤、使我受洗重生、賜我聖神以復新、原文作拯救我非由我行義之功乃由重生之洗與聖神之復新而救我儕聖神乃天主因我救主耶穌基督、厚賜我儕、使我賴其恩寵而得稱義、希望為嗣子得永生、

且示我以其旨之奧妙、循其所定之美意、

惟天主之矜恤甚宏、以大愛愛我儕、當我儕陷於罪愆若死之時、乃使我儕同基督復活、爾曹以恩得救矣、又天主因基督耶穌、使我儕與之同復活、同坐於天、天主因基督耶穌、向我儕大施仁慈、欲以其恩寵之豐厚、示於後世、蓋爾曹因信、以恩得救、此非由己、乃天主所賜也、亦非由功、免人自誇、蓋我儕為天主所造、在基督內被造者、使我得行善事、即天主預定我儕所當行者也、○

答曰、天國之奧、賜爾知、不賜眾知、蓋凡有者、必將予之、使之有餘、無有者、並其所有亦將奪之、故我設喻語眾、因其視而不見、聽而不聞、亦不悟焉、

當時耶穌心喜曰、父歟、天地之主、我頌讚爾、因爾以斯道隱於智者達者、而顯之於赤子、父歟、是也、因爾之意固如是也、萬物由父賜我、父之外無人識子為誰、子及子所樂示者之外、無人識父為誰、乃顧門徒、私謂之曰、見爾所見者、其目福矣、我告爾、昔有多先知及君王、欲見爾所見而不得見、欲聞爾所聞而不得聞、○

耶穌曰、西門巴約拿、爾福矣、蓋非屬血氣者示爾、乃我在天之父示爾也、

爾異乎人、誰使爾異、爾何所有而非受之乎、既受之何誇似未受乎、

惟爾目有福、因其見也、爾耳有福、因其聞也、

昔天主命光由暗而照、今照於我心、以光照人、使其知天主之榮、即在基督面所顯者也、
