He answered them,“ The secret of the kingdom of God has been given to you, but to those outside, everything comes in parables

耶穌對他們說：「神國的奧祕只叫你們知道，若是對外人講，凡事就用比喻，

耶穌對他們說：“神的國的奧祕，只給你們知道，但對於外人，一切都用比喻，

耶穌對他們說：『上帝國的奧祕是給予你們的；至於外人呢、一切都用比喻；

耶穌對他們說：「神國的奧祕已經賜給你們了，但是對外人，一切都是用比喻的。

耶穌曰、上帝國之奧、乃賜於爾、於外人則皆以喻焉、

耶穌曰、上帝國之奧、與爾識之、惟於外人、則以譬言之、

耶穌曰、天主國之奧、乃賜爾知之、若彼外人、則悉以喻訓之、

耶穌曰：『天主國之精義妙理、惟傳授於爾等。於外人則一以譬喻出之。

He told them,“ The secret of the kingdom of God has been given to you. But to those on the outside everything is said in parables

He told them,“ The secret of God’s kingdom has been given to you. But to outsiders everything is told using stories.

And he said to them,“ To you has been given the secret of the kingdom of God, but for those outside everything is in parables,

He replied,“ You are permitted to understand the secret of the Kingdom of God. But I use parables for everything I say to outsiders,

And He was saying to them,“ To you has been given the mystery of the kingdom of God, but for those who are outside, everything comes in parables,

And He said to them,“ To you it has been given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God; but to those who are outside, all things come in parables,

And he said unto them, Unto you is given the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all things are done in parables:

He answered them,“ The secret of the kingdom of God has been given to you, but to those outside, everything comes in parables

And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all[ these] things are done in parables:

He said to them,“ The secret of the kingdom of God has been given to you. But to those outside, everything is in parables,

He said to them,“ To you is given the mystery of God’s Kingdom, but to those who are outside, all things are done in parables,

At that time Jesus said,“ I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent and revealed them to infants.

Act wisely toward outsiders, making the most of the time.

For what business is it of mine to judge outsiders? Don’t you judge those who are inside?God judges outsiders. Remove the evil person from among you.

Furthermore, he must have a good reputation among outsiders, so that he does not fall into disgrace and the devil’s trap.

So he said,“ The secrets of the kingdom of God have been given for you to know, but to the rest it is in parables, so that Looking they may not see, and hearing they may not understand.

Don’t be deceived, my dear brothers and sisters.Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.By his own choice, he gave us birth by the word of truth so that we would be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.

so that you may behave properly in the presence of outsiders and not be dependent on anyone.

For we too were once foolish, disobedient, deceived, enslaved by various passions and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, detesting one another.But when the kindness of God our Savior and his love for mankind appeared,he saved us— not by works of righteousness that we had done, but according to his mercy— through the washing of regeneration and renewal by the Holy Spirit.He poured out his Spirit on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviorso that, having been justified by his grace, we may become heirs with the hope of eternal life.

He made known to us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure that he purposed in Christ

But God, who is rich in mercy, because of his great love that he had for us,made us alive with Christ even though we were dead in trespasses. You are saved by grace!He also raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavens in Christ Jesus,so that in the coming ages he might display the immeasurable riches of his grace through his kindness to us in Christ Jesus.For you are saved by grace through faith, and this is not from yourselves; it is God’s gift—not from works, so that no one can boast.For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared ahead of time for us to do.

He answered,“ Because the secrets of the kingdom of heaven have been given for you to know, but it has not been given to them.For whoever has, more will be given to him, and he will have more than enough; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him.That is why I speak to them in parables, because looking they do not see, and hearing they do not listen or understand.

At that time he rejoiced in the Holy Spirit and said,“ I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent and revealed them to infants. Yes, Father, because this was your good pleasure.All things have been entrusted to me by my Father. No one knows who the Son is except the Father, and who the Father is except the Son, and anyone to whom the Son desires to reveal him.”Then turning to his disciples he said privately,“ Blessed are the eyes that see the things you see!For I tell you that many prophets and kings wanted to see the things you see but didn’t see them; to hear the things you hear but didn’t hear them.”

Jesus responded,“ Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, because flesh and blood did not reveal this to you, but my Father in heaven.

For who makes you so superior? What do you have that you didn’t receive? If, in fact, you did receive it, why do you boast as if you hadn’t received it?

“ Blessed are your eyes because they do see, and your ears because they do hear.

For God who said,“ Let light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of God’s glory in the face of Jesus Christ.
