是夜、同人即送葆樂、西拉赴庇哩亞；既至、共入猶太人之會堂、

法利塞人應之曰：『汝亦加利利人耶？汝試一檢群經、應知加利利非出先知之地也！』

自此、若輩處心積慮、共謀所以殺耶穌。耶穌亦不復公然行於猶太人中、乃退至郊野之地；入一鎮、名以法蓮、偕門徒居焉。

彼時、耶穌登山祈禱、通宵求主。

嗣異邦人猶太人與其有司共謀凌辱宗徒、加以石擊；事為二人所覺、乃避之呂高尼、

同人即送葆樂至海濱；而西拉、蒂茂德則仍留於此。

或曰：『斯乃基督！』或曰：『基督豈能出於加利利乎？

至是若輩又欲執之；耶穌脫手避去、復至約旦河外、在如望初授洗處而居焉；人多就之、其言曰：『如望未曾行一靈蹟、
