耶稣知道了，就离开那个地方。很多人跟随祂，耶稣医好了其中所有患病的人，

但他们坚持说：“这个人从加利利开始一直到这里，在犹太地区四处传道，煽动民心。”

于是，耶稣走遍加利利，在各会堂传道，赶鬼。

如果你们在一个地方遭迫害，就避到另一个地方。我实在告诉你们，没等你们走遍以色列的城镇，人子就来了。

拿弗他利支派的哈末·多珥、加珥坦和加利利的避难城基低斯三座城及其草场。

弟兄姊妹在夜间把保罗和西拉送往庇哩亚。他们二人一到，就进了犹太会堂。

一天，耶稣到山上整夜向上帝祷告。

于是，民众便设立拿弗他利山区加利利境内的基低斯、以法莲山区的示剑和犹大山区的基列·亚巴，即希伯仑作为避难城。

当时，有些外族人、犹太人及其官长企图恶待使徒，用石头打他们。保罗和巴拿巴得知后，就逃往吕高尼的路司得和特庇二城并周围的地区，

庇哩亚的弟兄姊妹立刻送保罗到海边，西拉和提摩太仍然留在庇哩亚。

也有些人说：“祂是基督。”还有些人说：“不会吧，基督怎么会出自加利利呢？

他们又要抓耶稣，但祂从他们手中逃脱了。后来，耶稣到了约旦河东岸约翰从前施洗的地方，在那里住下来。许多人来到祂那里。他们说：“虽然约翰没有行过神迹，可是约翰所说关于这人的事全是真的。”
