He looked around at them in anger and, deeply distressed at their stubborn hearts, said to the man,“ Stretch out your hand.” He stretched it out, and his hand was completely restored.

Jesus looked around at them in anger. He was very upset because their hearts were stubborn. Then he said to the man,“ Stretch out your hand.” He stretched it out, and his hand had become as good as new.

And he looked around at them with anger, grieved at their hardness of heart, and said to the man,“ Stretch out your hand.” He stretched it out, and his hand was restored.

He looked around at them angrily and was deeply saddened by their hard hearts. Then he said to the man,“ Hold out your hand.” So the man held out his hand, and it was restored!

And when he had looked round about on them with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their hearts, he saith unto the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched[ it] out: and his hand was restored whole as the other.

祂環視眾人，然後對那人說：「把手伸出來！」那人的手一伸就復原了。

他們因為愚昧無知，頑固不化，理智受到蒙蔽，與上帝所賜的生命隔絕了。

不要因生氣而犯罪，不要到日落時還怒氣未消，

於是，耶穌轉過身來對那人說：「把手伸出來！」那人一伸手，手就復原了，跟另一隻手一樣健康。

弟兄姊妹，我不願意你們對以下這奧祕一無所知，還自以為聰明。這奧祕就是：雖然有些以色列人的心剛硬，但等到外族人得救的數目滿了以後，

所以我向那世代的人發怒，說，『他們總是執迷不悟，不認識我的道路。』

祂說：「你去告訴以色列人，『你們聽了又聽，卻不明白；看了又看，卻不領悟。』要讓這些人心靈麻木，耳朵發背，眼睛昏花，免得他們眼睛看見，耳朵聽見，心裡明白，回心轉意，就得到醫治。」

就後悔在地上造了人，心裡傷痛，

耶穌說：「我告訴你們，如果他們閉口不言，這些石頭都要呼喊了！」耶穌快到耶路撒冷時，看見那城就哀哭，說：「今天你若知道那能帶給你平安的事就好了！可惜這事現在是隱藏的，你看不見！因為有一天敵人要在你周圍築起壁壘把你團團圍住，四面攻擊你。他們要把你夷為平地，毀滅你城牆裡的兒女，不會留下兩塊疊在一起的石頭，因為你沒有認識到上帝眷顧你的時刻。」

王對上帝的僕人說：「請你為我禱告，求你的上帝耶和華使我的手復原。」於是，上帝的僕人向耶和華禱告，王的手就復原了。

他們愚昧無知，因為眼睛被封住以致看不見，心竅被塞住以致不明白。他們無人思想，無人明白，無人醒悟說：「我用一半木頭當柴烤餅、烤肉吃，我豈能用另一半木頭造可憎的神像？我豈能向一塊木頭叩拜？」他們以灰為食，心智迷糊，走入歧途，不能自救，也不會說：「我右手拿的神像不是假的嗎？」

所以，我憎惡他們四十年之久，我說，『他們偏離正路，不遵行我的命令。』

對他說：「到西羅亞池去洗洗！」西羅亞是「奉差遣」的意思。那盲人照著去做，回來的時候已經能看見了。

祂苦他們所苦，親自拯救他們。祂本著慈愛和憐憫救贖了他們，自古以來一直扶持、照顧他們。他們卻叛逆，使祂的聖靈憂傷。於是，祂與他們為敵，親自攻擊他們。

這該怎麼說呢？以色列人努力追求，卻一無所得，只有蒙揀選的人得到了，其他的人都變得頑固不化。正如聖經上說：「上帝使他們至今心智昏迷，眼睛看不見，耳朵聽不到。」大衛也說：「願他們的宴席成為網羅、陷阱、絆腳石，給他們帶來報應；願他們眼目昏暗，無法看見，永遠彎腰駝背。」

四十年之久惹上帝發怒的是誰呢？不就是那些犯罪作惡並倒斃在曠野的人嗎？

主說：「你們這些偽君子，莫非你們在安息日不解開棚裡的牛和驢，帶牠們去喝水嗎？

耶穌看見他們，就說：「去讓祭司察看你們的身體。」他們去的時候，就潔淨了。

以賽亞的預言正應驗在他們身上，『你們聽了又聽，卻不明白；看了又看，卻不領悟。因為這些人心靈麻木，耳朵發背，眼睛昏花，以致眼睛看不見，耳朵聽不見，心裡不明白，無法回心轉意，得不到我的醫治。』

祂既然達到了純全的地步，就成了永恆救恩的源頭，使所有順服祂的人都得到拯救。

他們哀求群山和岩石，說：「倒下來遮蓋我們，將我們藏起來吧！我們不敢面對寶座上的那位和羔羊的烈怒啊！

我非常憤怒，把多比雅所有的物品從房間裡扔出去，

但以色列人的心剛硬，直到今日，他們每逢讀舊約的時候，同樣的帕子還在那裡，沒有揭去。因為只有在基督裡，那帕子才能被除去。

以色列人除掉了他們的外邦神像，轉而事奉耶和華。耶和華不忍再看以色列人受苦。

耶穌對他說：「起來，拿起你的墊子走吧！」那人立刻痊癒了，拿起墊子開始行走。那天正好是安息日，

「耳聾的人啊，聽吧！眼瞎的人啊，看吧！有誰比我的僕人更瞎，比我差遣的使者更聾呢？有誰像那些與我立約的人那樣瞎呢？有誰像耶和華的僕人那樣瞎呢？你們看見許多事卻不領會，耳朵開著卻聽不見。」

不要讓上帝的聖靈擔憂，你們已經蓋上了聖靈的印記，將來必蒙救贖。
