其親屬聞而出、欲執之、曰、彼狂也、

親舊聞而至、欲援耶穌止之、語人曰、彼乃狂耳、

其親屬聞之即至、欲援而止之、因謂其癲狂、

耶穌親友聞之、出而欲制之、曰：『彼狂矣！』

When his family heard about this, they went to take charge of him, for they said,“ He is out of his mind.”

When his family heard what was happening, they tried to take him away.“ He’s out of his mind,” they said.

And when His own people heard about this, they came out to take custody of Him; for they were saying,“ He has lost His senses.”

And when his friends heard it, they went out to lay hold on him: for they said, He is beside himself.

When His family heard this, they set out to restrain Him, because they said,“ He’s out of His mind.”

保羅這樣申訴時，非斯都大聲說：「保羅，你瘋了！你的學問太大，反使你瘋了！」

其中有好些人說：「他是被鬼附了，而且瘋了，為甚麼聽他的呢？」

那時，耶穌的母親和他兄弟來，站在外邊，打發人去叫他。

耶穌的兄弟們對他說：「你離開這裏上猶太去吧，好讓你的門徒也看見你所做的事。因為人要揚名，沒有在隱祕的地方行事的，如果你要做這些事，該把自己顯明給世人看。」原來連他的兄弟們也不信他。於是耶穌對他們說：「我的時機還沒有到，你們的時機卻隨時都有。世人不會恨你們，卻是恨我，因為我指證他們的行為是惡的。你們上去過節吧！我現在不上去過這節，因為我的時機還沒有成熟。」耶穌說了這些話，仍然留在加利利。但他的兄弟們上去過節以後，他也上去，不是公開去，卻似乎是祕密地去的。

如果我們癲狂，是為上帝；如果我們清醒，是為你們。

耶戶出來，回到他主人的臣僕那裏，有一人問他說：「平安嗎？這瘋狂的人為甚麼到你這裏來呢？」他對他們說：「你們認得那人，也知道他在胡說。」

『耶和華已經立你西番雅為祭司，代替耶何耶大祭司，使耶和華的殿中有總管，好把所有狂妄自稱先知的人用枷枷住，用鎖鎖住。

降罰的日子近了，報應的時候已經來到。以色列必知道，先知愚昧，受靈感動的人狂妄，皆因你多多作惡，大懷怨恨。
